“Alright, so I’ve got what I need from the store, now I just need to stop at the bookstore…” Odete thinks out loud to herself while looking over her list, which she crosses out a few things on. She’s got a basket of flowers resting in the crook of her right elbow and on the left is a fabric bag of groceries. She’s more busy looking at her things than she is looking in front of herself.

Those moments when he had the day off was always a pleasant time of the week. Berdly was usually such a busy monster, although having time off didn’t mean he wasn’t still thinking about all the work he had to do. A mental checklist manifested in his head, listing off each activity or responsibility he had to do in the span of between now and the next couple of days. Being so focused on all of those things, it was no wonder he had gotten distracted enough to literally bump into someone.
“Oh– Sorry about that.” He mumbled, looking over at the stranger and the sheer amount of things she was carrying with her. “…Uh. Do you need any help there?” He asked.
She jumps as she collides with him and she quickly stops herself from dropping everything she has. “I’m so sorry, are you alright?” She looks him over, making sure he’s alright, that nothing got hurt. Even if it was just a little bump, she’s always so worried about people.
“Help? Oh! Sure, I could use someone to carry the groceries, but I do have another stop to make. Gods, I forgot I have to go and pick up dog food too!” She sighs and facepalms. “Should also grab my mail as well while I’m in town... Get some wood ordered to fix up that leak in the cottage...” She begins looking around, losing her train of thought. When her eyes land on him again, she jumps once more.
“You’re still here! Sorry, sorry. Um, I’m Odete! It’s nice to meet you!”
