That moment when a book written by a woman get an adaptation so unfaithful that change the whole meaning of it's narrative (which you can forgive), it results in a fandom loving the unfaithful adaptation (that you can also forgive) but they start disrespecting the original source material and the author so much you felt like burning everything down.

If I could have one nickel for everytime that happens, I'd have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happens twice.

The end of "Queen of the damned" when the vampires spent some time at Night Island. Whether the dialogue between Armand, Khayman, and Gabrielle took place in this way is up to you.

Disappeared for three weeks after last post... I was busy, but I've finished reading original book "Interview with the Vampire." Honestly, the book left me with mixed emotions. But it was interesting to compare the book and the tv series and how they changed the original plot.

and while I was reading I drew a few sketches of the book characters. The first photo is a sketch of Armand. Only he turned out more like he was before turning into a vampire. Second is Claudia (her storyline is a psychological horror) third is Louis.

I know that Vivienne Medrano directed all 16 episodes. But over the months, I heard people blaming Vivziepop for the bad scripts of episodes where she wasn't even involved.

I don't want to imply that those guys are obsessed with Vivienne Medrano, but it doesn't look good for them.

You may have guessed that I have developed an enormous hatred for the Immortal Universe by now. But when I look back at the trailer for the upcoming film "Animal Farm", I am so confused as to why producers willingly finance a book adaptation that brutally disfigures this book?

Are these the current standards in the film industry? Isn't it the audience's right to wish that the story and characters follow the style the original creator had in mind?

Animal Farms 2026 trailer: *Comes out and it's awful.* Most people: "Wow, that looks like shit! This is bastardizing the story entirely!" Twitter Users: "bUt ReMeMbEr ThAt OrWeLl dId EvIl ThInGs So BaStArDiZiNg HiS wOrK iS oKaY."

Call me crazy, but I think bastardizing any literature to dumb it down to sell it to children as slop content, regardless of who the author is, is incredibly dangerous and disgusting. It not only ensures the death of both literature and art, it further condemns children to only have bad media to consume.

Anyone who thinks that's a good thing, you can suck my hog and block me.
