three years ago, i heard Manic for the first time

“ill never know if there’s danger in confession or its memory that presses like a blade against my throat” is one of my favorite lines especially when put in the context of the film and this visual 

because when you’re in a labyrinth facing a new beginning it is the memory of the dead ends that came before it, the memory of the blade against your throat that makes you hesitate

because you can’t know if there’s danger, you can’t know if the path leads to another dead end you just have to give up some control and take the risk

it also reminds me that though the person at the beginning hesitates, the person at the end didn’t – lila goes with power, and a smile 

all the past versions of yourself go willingly, because they know you’re on the other side of it and they have faith in something far bigger than them: you 

(i’ve written that line 50 times before and i’ll write it more cause its my favorite)

I'm still working on Halsey's portrait, it's fun, I won't lie.

During the nights...I draw and listen to the Manic album, I still feel that it is unreal. The feeling, the euphoria from it is priceless...in addition to what is happening in the world

I have so many thoughts in my head that I would like to express somehow...and portraits/drawings are the only way I can do it.

I hope I can finish it before the end of this year.
