Because they’re trolls and think it’s hilarious. They don’t understand the full impact of their words, because it doesn’t personally affect them. They think everyone else is overreacting and stupid, and pretty much not having any empathy or compassion for the people who really need it. I don’t think there’s any convincing them otherwise.
It’d be great if people like this or worse didn’t exist, if we could all just get along and let people be without judging, but I’ve learned it’s better (for my self preservation) to figure out where they might be coming from and understanding how to not take it personally. (Easier said than done…). *hugs*
