Wow. Umm... I guess, there's a chance, that I accidentally might have. See, I couldn't quite afford the book myself (didn't find it on the shelves of local bookstores, and the principles of how online-shopping works are still a mystery for me), therefore asked if my friend with a digital copy could lend it to me (Can sharing an e-book with some really close friends truly be counted as such a violation of the law?). So they sent me this. I'm not saying, that this isn't my fault, but I think it could've happened to anyone, if I'm being honest. This doesn't help my embarassment, so I'm deeply sorry.

And while I'm at it, I want to say that all your work means an enormous lot to me. Coraline is still my favourite tale! The Sandman, Good Omens, Neverwhere, American Gods, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, and basically every story you've written... These are just something entirely different. You are an inspiration. yeah so like I just think that Brother Francis would absolutely delight in goading Warlock into celebrating Nanny Ashteroth’s birthday. They go to extreme lengths dodging the nanny as they blow up balloons, cook a rather lumpy cake in the brother’s kitchenette on the grounds, he even steals Warlock away for an afternoon to get Nanny Ashteroth a lovely venus fly trap that Brother Francis promises that she has always wanted since the beginning of time

So Nanny Ashteroth is getting downright livid with the fact that Warlock has run off on her again, and she hates wearing heels in the grass because they always sink into the earth and she just has to stab her feet every step of the way and there’s the stupid gardener’s house and didnt Crowley tell Aziraphale to lay off? and she shoves the door open

and is greeted with a beaming Brother Francis holding up a mushed up cake that has a big divot of icing out of the side (always, always take a fingerful of icing at any party, dear Warlock, that’s how you establish dominance) and Warlock is beaming from ear to ear holding the worlds most gorgeous venus fly trap and yeah, maybe taking care of the antichrist with this particular angel isnt all that bad

being able to read in a serious capacity

knowing where babies come from

being fully integrated into human society (he owns and runs a small business and actually does taxes)

having an in-depth knowledge of earth (he makes an effort to culture himself on things like cuisine and art, as well as learning people's names)

aziraphale may be an idiot by any of our standards, but compared to any other angel or demon we see, he's goddamn enlightened
