Becoming vegan
What’s up, people! I’m back with another post about veganism. Did you actually now that I’ve been vegan since the world vegan day? That’s funny. It’s been more than a month and it’s going well. I can’t believe it!
I was watching Madeleine Olivia’s vegan story and thought it wouldn’t influence me. The week after that I continued watching documentaries like 101 reasons to go vegan and The best speech by Gary Yourofsky and I just stopped eating meat. I did make a few mistakes and one time I just couldn’t resist, but I’m trying not to be too hard on myself, because I know that this is a process and eating less animal product is already helping. I’m in this for the long run (my boyfriend is not happy..) and I want to make it right. So I’m currently trying out a lot of recipes and have found some that I really like. Also I’m trying to veganize some of my favourite foods but unfortunately, there is no good alternative for vegan pizza here in germany. I’m sure I will figure something out. The last few days I’ve noticed that my energy levels are going up. Especially in the evening, while my boyfriend likes to fall asleep in front of the TV, I can’t even think of sleeping. I have to find an outlet, because I’m currently not running. I don’t feel comfortable running in the early hours of the day when it is so dark outside. I’m just too scared and I know why (too many things have happened..) so maybe I’ll have to start yoga again. At least during winter. Have a good day xxx
