Adobe unveils a revolutionary UX design application at MAX
In recent years Adobe have struggled to maintain their market position with the rise of agile competitors like Sketch, and Affinity. Being the first to bring a comprehensive UX design application to market, is a big coup for Adobe, and feels like an attempt to lay down a marker for the web designers of the future.
In preparation for Adobe killing Fireworks, I’ve been using Sketch over the last few months. Today, it’s $25 on the iTunes store (usually $50) <- HT @verbiate. Also, check out Meng To’s, Sketch vs Fireworks write up.
Been using Coda 2 all day. Looks ace but I have a few issues: I can't seem to get auto-complete working for custom functions. Selecting a file from path bar opens a new tab rather than in that split. Would love to be able to split horizontally and vertically. Git push and pull buttons disappear from the sidebar if your working directory is clean. It seems like the video may have over played the app slightly. There's a couple of really simple things is love to have: Multiple cursors Delete line Move line Overall I'm very excited about using this product and can't wait for version 2.1 which hopefully will address some of these issues. Nice work Panic!
