What do you think It will be the world's response to byler ? Of course there are going to be some mlvns mad and the homophobes... But in general, How do you guys think People would react to It ? Specially because If It becomes Canon and endgame It will literally break the main straight couple shipp on the show for 4 Seasons to put Two of the main characters in a gay relationship ( and i think that is so iconic lol ) like... It never happened before ( specially in a mainstream show that doesn't have queer themes as It's main Focus like heartstopper for example )

I personally think some people might be like ‘yep saw this coming from the start’ or from past 2 seasons. And I think some might be like ‘didn’t think they go with this but now that I look back it makes sense’ and I think the other part will be like ‘you know what finally, because, we rarely get mainstream having main queer couples. I’m happy for the queer community (from allys or fellow queers)’

And I personally feel like the response will be good. I think a lot of people might love the idea that Stranger Things continues to still be the show that defies against what stereotypical show would do and showcase queer love. I think some might even praise the writers for taking a chance on queer love instead of sticking to the homophobic audience because they’re scared of losing viewers.
