A storm is coming...
AD for previously unreleased 2023 thunders.
One invention in photography history that impresses me, is the creation of permanent images (negatives). To me, it's just hard to think that someone that early in time was able to figure out a way to preserve an image of a photo essentially created with altered versions of the camera obscura. It may seem basic now, but it's hard to believe that people in the past were able to not only manipulate light to create basically a mirror image of something else, but then be able to preserve it. Which was eventually able to be in half-tone, which was in color. Another invention that amazes me are the creation of cinematography cameras today. The C series cameras from Canon are extremely good, and have become much smaller since the very first camera in history. So the fact that we're able to pack so much power into something much smaller than before is amazing to me, because these cameras can almost replicate a human eye and be spot on. This also includes the invention of DSLR cameras which had great battery life, great quality, and durability. All of these different cameras changed the game for a lot of indie film makers and people wanting to get into amateur photography.
I like these ads because they're all things that I've seen and used before, they're also artistically attractive..? they catch my eye.

What is pop art??? let me explain.
Pop-Art is a form of art style that appeared in the 1950's and 60's. It was a revolt against traditional art and depiction of what actual art should be. They would essentially use any media, from movies, music and comic books. It is the art of images seen in popular culture. It was a new unique way of drawing art compared to the old way that were believed as "false depictions" of the real world, so many pop-artists decided to create their own realistic version of art and the world by taking actual events and pop culture subjects to create art that anybody could relate to. It was also art that anybody could do because it was simple, it was just what you seen in the current society . A famous artist by the name of Roy Lichtenstein created a famous pop art painting known as crying girl studying the aspects of female identity.

1. Does My Photo Have Great Composition and Framing?
It has decent framing, the subject is obvious, but the light coming from the window sort of distracts you away from the subject
2. Does My Crop Enhance Or Detract From My Image?
Me cropping it down helped it focus more on the cat instead of the background, there were also things at the bottom and side of the image.
3. Is My Exposure Right For My Intent?
The light from the window has too much exposure and looks WAY too bright, but I couldn't remove it at that time of day.
4. Is My Photograph In Focus?
Yes, the main subject is in focus and is clear.
5. Have I Thought About The Background Of My Image?
I would possibly make a bigger Frame and make the firecat into a different background besides a plain white background. I feel it would look better if I made my own background as a sort of logo without the sunlight.
6. Is My Image Impactful?
It could've been if I could get a better angle and it was a different time of day.
7. Processing/Technical Quality – Have I Improved My Image In Post?
I made the cat look better as the red pops more and makes it look like its actual fire. But I did also make the sunlight worse on the bottom part of it.
What HDR is
HDR means high dynamic range, it is the range of light and dark tones in a photo. Meaning it would be good for things like landscape photos because it would capture the dynamic range of light in the photo. It provides balance from the luminance being emitted from whatever photo your taking, essentially making the photo look better.
