note : keep in mind I'm still fairly new to DC comics.
Percy Jackson as Dick Grayson (Nightwing)
Chat i cant get this out of my head.
They’re both such sweet boys who have been through hell, yet still stay so smiley.
Dick in the early Robin years was so angry, sassy, and dramatic, it reminds me so much of Percy. They both got thrown into responsibilities at such a young age.
They both have good leadership skills. theyre pretty natural at it.
Both very loyal to friends and family (chat we ignore bad writing in DC)
They use humor in tense situations, Percy with his sarcastic quips and Dick with his teasing wit.
Similar sense of justice and moral compass.
They both struggle with identity issues. Dick is trying to break free from Robin and define his own identity as Nightwing, and Percy is trying to find his place in both the moral and divine worlds (not to mention being offered Godhood).
( I also just really like the idea of Percy in Nightwing’s costume )
— more characters under here :)
Annabeth Chase as Barbara Gordon (Batgirl/Oracle)
Annabeth was pretty tough for me to do but my brain kept going back to Barbara.
first, yes, they are both incredibly smart girls.
The brains of their teams, Annabeth designs intricate plans, anticipates enemy moves, and solves complex puzzles/myths. Barbara is a genius-level intellect, a master hacker, and a tactician who outsmarts villains through preparation and deduction.
In combat, even though they are both talented fighters, they rely more on wit. Annabeth is brilliant at getting them out of situations with her cleverness. As Batgirl, Barbara uses strategy a lot. Even as an oracle she directs fights remotely with perfect timing.
Annabeth’s fatal flaw is hubris (excessive pride in her intellect), which gets her into trouble. Barbara is fiercely independent, confident in her abilities, and refuses to let setbacks define her, both push through challenges with stubborn resolve.
not to mention both girls are super witty, and sarcastic.
I feel like they both have such strong emotional strength.
Piper McLean as Zatanna Zatara
Powerful voices !!
Piper has Charmspeak and Zatana’s magic activates through speech.
Struggle with the ethics of mind influences and moral lines in using spells on others. Both grow by learning to balance power with heart.
Emotion-Driven Strength :) Piper’s power responds to her emotions, care, and intent. Zatanna’s magic is more tied to her feelings, focus, and belief.
Both have famous fathers ‼️
I feel like they both get attention easily just by their charisma and presence
Both loyal and would 100% overdo their abilities to help the people they love. They both have that impulsiveness to them.
They’re both kinda the emotional compass/emotional anchor of their teams.
Leo Valdez as Ted Kord (Blue Beetle)
Both hands-on geniuses fr. they are talented inventors with that chaotic energy. They also both rely more on their mind instead of powers.
both Leo and Ted use humor as a coping mechanisms. like they use it to hide insecurities and also to lighten the mood for their teams. they are the master deflectors.
Smart but underrated!! Leo talks about how he feels like an extra compared to Percy or Jason. Ted lived in a world with Batman, superman, and geniuses like oracle, and sometimes gets underestimated
funny boys who've been through hell WOOOO. Leo struggles with loss, feeling like the “seventh wheel” among couples, and low self-worth. Ted deals with mentor betrayal/death and often feels overshadowed in teams.
Very loyal to friends. they love their teams despite all the sad boy hours
“Give me five minutes and duct tape.”
Jason Grace as Clark Kent (Superman)
Golden boys :)
They both have so much pressure on them and they feel the need to do something cause they’re strong.
Also bro… Jason Grace as Clark Kent.. the glasses in the office with that awkward vibe just trying to fit in. stop it makes me smile just thinking about it
Theyre both powerful enough to kinda dominate but they both chose restraint and responsibility
Jason is a praetor, a commander, and a symbol for others. Superman is the moral and emotional leader of the Justice League.
They both are very driven by what they were raised with.
Also this is just me yapping but Jason also kinda reminds me of Dean from the naturals kinda, idk if you guys know that book series
Anyways back on topic, Jason and Clark are both more emotionally reserved, they dont really open up. They tend to carry weight privately.
They both feel like symbols in their world. Jason, order, discipline, and unity. Superman represents hope.
Hazel Levesque as Rachel Roth (Raven)
Spooky, dark, demonic/underworld paternal legacy.
Hazel is the daughter of Pluto, carrying a “curse” from her mother’s deal that brings destruction and ties her to death. Raven is the daughter of Trigon, a literal inter-dimensional demon lord from a hellish realm, born as a vessel for his conquest. Both inherit apocalyptic power from an evil father figure they must constantly resist.
It's pretty easy to pair them cause of the heavy past they both have and carry, but there's more reason I put them together.
They both had to learn control. Hazel learned to control fear and guilt to be able to move forward. Raven must control her emotions to keep her powers in check. Their calmness isn't just a personality trait, it's necessary.
Both have deep compassion, very sweet girls for those they care about. Raven shows more in actions than words.
Self-sacrificing instinct, they both put themselves on the chopping board for friends but dont really speak about it. They struggle with feeling like a burden but are still there.
Both feel out of time/out of place.
Frank Zhang as Billy Batson (Shazam/Captain Marvel)
Okay, yes, Beast Boy would've been an easy pick, cause they have the same abilities, but personality-wise I feel like Shazam is the most similar to Frank.
Yes, Billy is actually a child. I feel like I need to address that 😭, but both Billy and Frank have this gentle, earnest, and good quality.
Frank is Kind, respectful, humble, and genuinely wants to do right. Shazam is Big-hearted, sincere, and morally grounded.
They both have powers that feel “too big”. They fear hurting others, losing control, and not being worthy of their strength. They both hesitate and hold themselves back because of that fear.
Frank steps into leadership because he must, not because he wants attention. Shazam answers the call because it’s the right thing, even when he’s scared.
They’re both motivated by love not by glory.
Both didn't ask for their power/legacy.
They both doubt themselves even when others/things are telling them they are worthy and good.
Nico di Angelo as Damian Wayne (Robin)
Okay, on the surface, this might not seem obvious if you’re only looking at powers, but personality-wise and narratively, Damian Wayne fits Nico almost perfectly.
Both Nico and Damian Wayne are children who were forced to grow up far too quickly. Their childhoods were cut short by loss, violence, and responsibility they never asked for.
Nico is quiet, guarded, and withdrawn, often keeping people at arm’s length because he believes there’s something wrong with him. Damian does the same thing, pushing others away, being cold or angry, not because he doesn’t care, but because caring feels dangerous.
They’re both defined early on by things they didn’t choose. Nico is feared for his connection to death. Damian is feared for how he was raised and what he was trained to be. Their identities become weapons before they ever get to be kids.
They also share a huge amount of self-loathing and guilt. Nico believes his darkness makes him unlovable. Damian believes he has to earn the right to be loved through perfection or control. Both have to unlearn the idea that they’re only valuable for what they can do.
Their arcs aren’t about becoming less dangerous, they’re about realizing they’re allowed to be human.
At their core, Nico and Damian are the same kind of character: soft, grieving kids wearing armor they never wanted, learning that they’re more than what their past tried to make them.
Will Solace as Tim Drake (Red Robin)
Chat i just realized I gave Nico and will the brothers 😭 PLEASE IGNORE THAT
ANYWAYYSSS. Will Solace and Tim Drake are often mistaken for “soft” characters, but that reading misses the point. Neither of them is gentle in a fragile way, they’re steady, honest, and unafraid to say hard truths.
Will is compassionate, but he’s also blunt. He calls Nico out when Nico starts seeing himself as a monster or isolating out of guilt. He doesn’t sugarcoat the truth, because letting someone believe a lie about themselves is more harmful than being uncomfortable. Tim is the same way. He’s observant, direct, and willing to confront people he cares about when they’re spiraling or making reckless choices. He doesn’t raise his voice, he just doesn’t back down.
Both of them operate with emotional intelligence backed by backbone. They read the room, understand the emotions at play, and then act decisively. Their care isn’t passive; it’s corrective.
They’re also intensely protective, but not in a flashy way. Will protects by healing, standing his ground, and refusing to let Nico self-destruct. Tim protects by planning, intervening, and stepping in even when it puts him at odds with others.
Neither Will nor Tim sees themselves as a savior. They see themselves as necessary, someone has to stay clear-headed, someone has to say the thing no one else will.
They also share a quiet resilience. They don’t romanticize suffering, and they don’t glorify pain. When faced with darkness, they don’t harden, they hold the line.
I hope you guys liked it, and remember I'm still a newbie dc so some stuff might not be as accurate. ( •̯́ ₃ •̯̀)
yk how I made that pjo x dc post well, I was thinking about it and Tim Drake could also be Annabeth Chase.
both strategist of their groups. I mean, Tim is often called the smartest robin, and Annabeth is famous for her tactical thinking. I also feel like they’re both perfectionists 🤔 very hard on themselves for mistakes. And I think they’re both guarded in a way. ANYWAYS i was just thinking
Summary & CW: fluff, slice of life, best friends brother, tim takes a nap, he’s also a recovering touch starved man, conversation about suggestive behavior, second person, no use of y/n

“Aw man c’mon,” a voice that is all too familiar whines behind you. “I don’t want to see this.”
Tilting your head all the way back on the arm rest, you see Duke Thomas and Stephanie Brown walking into the room. It was shocking, truly, how there seemed to be a thousand rooms in this manor, and you still managed to get found.
Tim had dragged you to the east wing for a nice relaxing afternoon a little over an hour ago.
He compromised by sleeping four hours last night when you woke up for your midnight pee and called him. When he answered the phone, you promptly told him to go to bed or you wouldn’t be coming over today.
Safe to say he was under his sheets shortly after you hung up.
This part of the manor tended to be quieter, there were more libraries and offices that weren’t inhabited often.
On the second floor study, there was the most comfortable couch you’d ever sat on. One thing led to another and now, Tim was draped across you like a blanket, snoring quietly as he settled into your neck. His arms were locked around your waist with an iron grip, despite being asleep, and he hadn’t moved in forty five minutes.
“Shhh,” you moved the fingers that were carding through is hair to your mouth. “He’s sleeping.”
Thankfully, the whisper yell didn’t wake him. The absence of your fingers did cause him to bury his face further into your neck, missing your soothing touch even in his dreams.
Stephanie’s signature smirk grew on her lips, which had your stomach sinking. Seeing as you were currently trapped under your boyfriend, you were just going to have to sit and suffer whatever terror she felt like inflicting. When she took her phone out of her back pocket, you only managed to bite back a groan for Tim’s sake. You knew where this was going.
She came around the couch and snapped the photo while you frowned, fingers returning to his hair. Duke followed right behind her with his arms crossed and a faux expression of disgust on his face.
“I’m never going to get used to seeing you two together.” He muttered while Stephanie looked way too proud of herself for the blackmail she just acquired.
Rolling your eyes, your head shifts to side landing on the plush arm rest. Raising an eyebrow, you decide to give him a little reminder. “I don’t know why you’re whining, you introduced us.”
“Yeah because I thought you guys would get along, not because I wanted you to suck face.”
Your jaw drops at the tease. “For the record,” you raise a hand to point at him. “I wouldn’t dare to suck face in a shared space of this house. There’s too many cameras in here, and the last thing I need is another uncomfortable conversation with Mr. Wayne.”
Duke bites his lip to hold back a laugh while Stephanie’s hand flies to her mouth, a small action showing that they do genuinely care for Tim’s rare rest breaks. The horrific memory that you tried to burn out of your mind was sure at the front of theirs.
Getting caught by Bruce was in the top ten most humiliating moments of your life. You didn’t return to the manor for a month, and didn’t look Bruce in the eye for three.
Tim and the rest of his family found it funny. You did not.
Then, the air in the room depletes as Tim started shifting around, burying himself deeper into your neck. It was as if someone hit the mute button, even the random noises that occasionally echoed through the manor stopped. The only sound was the small groan Tim let out while moving, probably from shifting the weight onto the shoulder that’s been bothering him for a few weeks.
When he settled back into place and a solid thirty seconds passed without him moving, you looked back at Stephanie and Duke. They unfreeze at your movement and mouth, “we’re going to go” while pointing at the door.
Sparing them a small wave and nod, they practically float out the room. The second the door clicks behind them, you move your head back slightly to look at Tim. He looked so peaceful like this, almost like he was taken out of an oil painting.
Dropping a quick kiss to the beauty mark next to his eyebrow, he hums quietly. You should’ve known that he woke up.
“That’s why you won’t kiss me in the manor anymore?” His voice is groggy and muffled from being pressed against you, but you couldn’t hold back the small laugh you attempted tp mask with a scoff.
“Go back to sleep,” you drop another kiss to his cheek. Hoping to distract him from his initial question, your free hand slips under his shirt and starts scratching his back.
He hums again, his eyes still shut but unrelenting. “I told you, Bruce doesn’t care. He’s caught Dick and Jason doing far worse.”
If it wasn’t for this being a topic of conversation you really didn’t care for, this would’ve been the cutest thing ever.
Your favorite version of Tim was always when he woke up. His eyes were half-lidded from sleep and he was still mumbling all his words. It was a little secret you kept for yourself, but he was also more physical when he was freshly conscious. He pulled you closer to him in bed, kissed you slower, whispered praises into your skin while cataloguing every part of you to his brain.
Not wanting to feed the conversation anymore, you merely hummed again.
That didn’t seem to satisfy him.
“Baby c’mo-”
“If I kiss you, will you go back to sleep?”
You felt the grin against your neck and sighed.
Propping himself up over you, he has the smile that he wore on the night you met. The smile that made you fall in love with him. And all of the sudden, any reason you had for not wanting to kiss him in shared spaces disappeared.
