Isak didnt get the chance to reply before Paxton was gone and soon Isak was in the same room again. Isak didnt say anything for a while. Just watched Paxtons moved and listened to his voice. His eyes following everything he did. The fingers in his hair, he moving to make space for Isak. Isak always felt so much love and care around him. That man was so beautiful, so sexy and so kind and considerate. Isak slowly took his jacket off after Paxton commented on it. " one second, i´m coming. The bed really is warmer tha standng here " he giggled "especially with you in it. Your always so hot" Isak bit the inside of his lip softly. He carefully folded his jacket it and put it on top of the dresser. Isak then proceeded to take his pants off as well. Even tho they were pajamas pants. Isak wasnt a fan of bringing cloths to bed that he had been wearing elsewhere. Next the t-shirt follower and he folded it all neatly making a pile on the dresser. The boy then moved and crawled into bed next to Paxton. He found it really inviting and showed so much care how Paxton had moved to make room for him, but Isak typically wasnt one to take up much space, he turned on his side to look at Paxton.
" i love being here with you, You always make me feel so loved and safe. Like i know when im with you, you wont let anything bad happen to me. You take such good care of me" Isak talked quietly but voice full of love. The boy put his hands together right under his chin and rested his head on them. He bit his lip and looked at Paxton. " do you really think you can handle living with me? like all the time? i´m really difficult, i´m really particular with how things are and should be" Isak said with worry. He had never been an easy person to live with. He had ticks and habits he struggled with breaking. He needed things a certain way. Isak did worry how it would be for Paxton having to live with all that always. He knew the man already lived with it when he was there and it didnt look like Paxton minded, but would it be the same if they lived together 24/7.
Paxton watched as Isak carefully folded the clothes, the neatness of it catching him slightly off guard in a way that made a quiet smirk tug at the corner of his mouth. He hadn’t expected him to be so precise; honestly, he would’ve been perfectly fine with the clothes ending up in a loose pile on the floor, something to deal with in the morning rather than fuss over now. Still, there was something endearing about it, the quiet order Isak brought into a space that was usually just Paxton’s controlled kind of chaos. Shifting slightly so he could get a better view of him, Paxton adjusted himself in bed as Isak climbed in beside him. The mattress was a proper double, something Paxton had deliberately chosen for comfort rather than necessity, because even in his small apartment he valued having space to stretch out, especially since he tended to move in his sleep and hated the feeling of being boxed in. Having room meant not waking up half hanging off the edge, and right now it also meant having space for Isak without it feeling cramped or temporary. Reaching out, Paxton let his fingers drift through Isak’s hair as he listened to him speak, grounding himself in the contact. “Why would I let something bad happen to you? If anyone tried to come in here and hurt us, I’d do everything in my power to make sure you were protected. I want you to know that. My main priority in life is to keep you safe and sound.” His voice softened as he spoke, even as a tired yawn slipped through, though he didn’t pull away, if anything, being near Isak made it harder to switch off.
Paxton shifted closer, his tone easing into something more open as he continued. “You can treat this place like your own if you moved in with me,” he admitted honestly. “You can change things to however you want them. Have them your own particular way. Home is with you, not how it looks on the inside. The only thing you can’t change is the bed,” he added with a small chuckle. “This is staying, but anything else? You can change it to how you want it looking.” Leaning down, he pressed a slow kiss to Isak’s lips, lingering just enough to make the moment feel certain. “Stop worrying about me and how things might change. Change is good. I’d love you here with me. I have for months now. I don’t ever want to rush you, but living with my boyfriend? That sounds so fucking magical.”
