Something bewitching || Lily & Payden
Lily furrowed her brow at the statement, confused as to what it meant. Opening her mouth to speak, Lily stopped as the woman made a hard gesture in front of her. Feeling nothing, Lily smirked, believing the obvious spell casting not to have worked. Opening her mouth again to mock the woman, Lily found that she was unable to force words from her mouth. Her hands swiftly came up to lock against her throat, she looked up at the devious Witch, a slight horror in her eyes. Confused and slightly scared, Lily listened, wide eyed as the woman continued to talk before walking away. Putting everything that had happened together in her head, Lily let out a silent scream before flicking her wrist and igniting the woman’s long, dark hair.
Payden knew she shouldn't have use magic on the girl, almost as soon as she walked away, she didn't even know the girl. What was she thinking, it could be someone of important in this town. Her sister seemed to like it here, she shouldn't get them kicked out before they had even settled. But it was done now, its not like she could change it.
The sudden heat came as unwelcome surprise to Payden, she new what was happing right away. Her and her sisters had trained for this, there was no way she would ever be burnt alive. She concentrated her energy on the flames, it only took a few minuets for the flames to stop. The only damage was to her hair, nothing that couldn't be fixed with a easy potion. She turned back to the girl, shacking her head "Like I said, I don't know how strong that spell was. It could last days or for the rest of your life and can only be removed by me or my family. So do keep trying to burn me, I'm sure that will help get rid of the spell" She said with a smile.
