SUBLIME CINEMA #375 - NOMADLAND
Took me a while to see this, and it took me even longer to endear to it. I think seeing two iconic actors inhabit the roles of struggling Americans turned me off at first. It is a movie after all, but the intentions here were different from most. But it tells such an important story, and it’s a joy to see the expanse of America treated with such respect and care on camera, without any accoutrements.
