Not buying a watch is a poem

On one hand there are the ticking seconds

On another there are

only know that they exist

And the other hand, hours

the ones that matter, shifting in the wind

until there are no more mornings left

just a box for your bones

a soulless body decaying like the watch

you bought

So possibly then,

a watch is just a pointless acquisition

a pointless reminder

of our inevitable death

So I stumbled across the IMDB page for Rebel Wilson, and let me tell you, this girl is awesome.

Rebel is her real name. Her siblings are named Annarchi, Ryot, and Liberty.

She’s a distant relative of Walt Disney.

She has a law degree.

She’s a former youth ambassador for Australia and was based in South Africa.

While in South Africa, she contracted malaria. According to the article, she “had hallucinations in which she saw herself as an actress who had won an Oscar. This then convinced her to pursue an acting career.”

and THAT is why this girl rocks harder than pop rocks.

A year's passing

The sun has set.

The clouds drape the cold winds

like a wet rag.

Sipping a cup of black kona,

my mind wonders how many coffee beans

have met the grinder today.

And drink to the sadness of another cup's passing,

and the cooling of scorching water, reminds me

of the brewing of one year's worth of days.
