GOD DAMN IT DO I NEED TO KEEP THE SINGULARITY (2010) GAME FANDOM ALIVE?!

I swear I love this game. It's one of my all time favorites and yet I see little to nothing done with it on a fandom perspective. I've see 1 piece of fanart and like 1 appreciation post. I will write fanfics or something to keep this fandom alive. But I want more people to see this game I enjoyed so dearly.

So, I've had some ideas. Hear me out

Basira is actually more aligned with the corruption.

Elaboration: Basira isn't a "good" cop (acab), she's always letting Daisy get away with murder, and other crimes, as well as stealing evidence to keep Jon around. So I propose that, since she only aligns with the hunt by being police, what if she also aligns with the corruption in a metaphorical sense. The whole corrupt cop thing still applies, and works under this theory. We know other entities manifest in metaphorical ways, like the buried being debt. I think Basira could be a part of the corruption since she doesn't really care about doing the right thing, even as a cop.

We haven't really seen much in the way of metaphorical manifestations of the corruption but I think this would be a way to do it. With corruption of title, power, etc.

What are your all's thoughts?

So I sometimes try to ad phone games, and I tried Idle Zombie Hospital, Boring as any other Idle game but, I got hit with this fellow

And I just had to stop. Now I'm ace but this man scratches an aesthetic attraction itch in my brain. And I cannot place why. And it certainly doesn't help that he winks at you from time to time when talking.

Or adjusting his hair. I think I'm just upset that they slammed all my favorites tropes into a character and wasted him on an idle zombie game because the rest of the art style, absolutely don't not match this guy. Everything else is as you see behind him. And from what I saw while playing he's the only one like that. I find it truly bizarre.

I really hate trying to find a good reader insert, because some people apparently don't know that as soon as you describe the "reader insert" it's no longer a reader insert, if you are making it for a short person or a poc reader or a male reader, etc. Tag it accordingly

i.e. character(s) x short reader

Character(s) x poc reader

Please stop describing the reader other wise. If they're supposed to be short, leave it as short/shorter, don't give them an exact height (i.e. 4'9", 5'4", etc)

And please stop assuming they have a blush that can be seen, I've seen plenty complain about that one.

Don't give them a name, use (y/n), I am referring to their real name, not pet names like sweety, or love.

And above all do NOT write it for your oc, tag it as reader insert/ x reader and then say "just pretend this is you"

About the MK post I made

I have decided to delete the post and not put tags on this one because this is an apology and not something that even connects to most the characters. The post I made was dumb, and should've kept that to myself, I was accusatory, about a "problem" that wasn't a problem, and and spend false information and quite frankly that's entirely on me, I should've done more of my own research instead of just taking lore videos at face value. While I still believe there is an issue with particularly race fetishizing in the mk fandom, that had nothing to do with liulao which I didn't explain well in my original post. May I ask which Lore video? Because from what I understand, they were never related. The only timeline that Liu Kang was related to the GKL is in the 1995 film which fused Liu Kang and Kung Lao together.

So a few people asked me about the lore videos (so I'll answer it all here) and they were all in a YouTube selected playlist, they very well could be completely wrong about that in which case I apologize, the videos in question were trying to connect all the mk stuff including comics and movies, which is probably where things got muddled. So I do apologize. The playlist was on autoplay so alot of it blends together, I always thought they were related before those videos so when they said they were I didn't question it, but if they were wrong then I am in the wrong, and I do apologize.

Joseph is a victim of the spiral and the voice is just the distortion screwing with him, using religion as a way to trick him into spreading the madness to others

This just an Au, hell I'm willing to do fan fics, oneshots, headcanons, etc. for this AU my inbox is open.

I really like the idea of Joseph being a victim of one of the fears and going on to spread the fear to others. Jacob's soldiers as werewolves is a really neat concept, too. 🤔

I had no idea! I'm glad I do now! Ngl I would've put joe as the extinction but since it was pretty much stopped before it could get far enough to even have avatars I didn't feel it would be fair. Also faith as a web lady is interesting, for my particular au she could be a servant of the Web too, I'm actually surprised to see people not only thought the same thing but we got mostly the same vibes. I wanted to play with the whole victim thing because honestly a lot of them were victims in one way or another, I felt it would be fair to touch on those too since they would have interesting consequences, particularly with Ethan and Joseph's relationship. There are so many interesting concepts that could be explored with that kind of au.
