i can't express how absolutely important it is that when you make an edgy, brooding, badass character who's tough as nails and good at fighting and whatever, you HAVE to give them at least one reason to become completely helpless and pathetic. you have a panic attack quota to fulfill.

Finally decided that The Treat for Getting Job™️ is going to be a hoya, so I went back to the etsy shop I bought from last year (the one I bought from her is doing well and she gave me that lacunosa amarillo that thinks it's a fractal as a freebie), but I've run into a postmenopausal problem.
There's an absolutely stunning polynura jasminka that I instantly feel fell in love with, but it's $150.
So maybe I'll get a couple other ones instead, right.
Put a couple in the cart. $107.
Dilemma is: do I go for the couple of very nice hoya (polyneura inner variegated, but just a two-leaf clipping, and a pandurata, whose flowers apparently smell like cloves) for close to $110, or do I just go for the single $150 plant, because art at that point what's an extra $40? I'm supposed to be spoiling myself, after all. Right?
This is the stunner and Zo is a terrible terrible enabler
