Ok so I was training with Etho and Gem, then we finished and I walked home, then this raccoon came out of no where and teleported me here.

Fantastic! So, do hero/villain shenanigans ever interrupt your day and/or routine? If so, how frequently?

Sometimes. Criminal Activity Alerts do have a tendency to interrupt my commute; just the other day I was late to work thanks to villain activity and someone who could probably win a Slayer Look A Like contest ended up dragging me into a building for safety. But most of the time it happens when I'm either already at work or at home.

That probably was Slayer in civvies. Anyway, would you say you trust the heroes to do their jobs and protect you, or do you find yourself relying on other things, such as vigilantes, the chance the villain has enough of a moral code to not hurt you too badly if not leave you alone, pepper spray, that kind of thing?

Oh uh, I'm not sure? I think I can trust Slayer and Furioso to do their jobs but at the same time... I was a fan of Blackhole, one of the Gs, and they all turned out to be corrupt. Besides, most of the villains I could potentially deal with are either probably too nice or probably too pathetic to hurt me too badly, and I can run away if needed.

Interesting. What are your thoughts on the current system? Where people can either be heroes, villains or loose them?

I didn't realise powers worked like that, but all in all it doesn't really affect me. I'm a vet and don't have powers. It sounds a little bit messed up and like a system prone to create mistakes but I don't really know what I'm on about so I don't really have much of an opinion.

Slayer switches to an interview persona

I became Slayer when I was scouted by the agency after i developed powers in late high school. After some training I learned i was good with a crossbow and got the nickname GeminiSlay- a combination of my zodiac sign and slay, so it kinda just translated to my hero name.

Damn that's cool. So what's your favourite part of being Slayer?

I enjoy being able to provide safety to the community i love!

And least favourite?

My least favorite is that I am needed in the first place, it upsets me that people are so willing to commit these horrific crimes. Don't get me wrong, I love being a hero, but I hate that people are willing to be villains.

Not really, ever since I was a kid I knew I wanted to help people. Before I developed powers I planned on going into the medical field, but when I developed powers I knew right then that I wanted to train my hardest and become a hero

If it means anything I think you'd make a great doctor. A question from our fans here... if I can decipher the handwriting- god it's worse than mine when I'm deliberately trying to annoy Gem or Scott- uhhh what are your thoughts on Daybreak?

We were great friends, I know she definitely wanted to be more than that though. I was thinking about giving her a chance when the Gs incident went down.

I was really upset and hurt that Daybreak would do something so evil, we had talked about our values and likes just a few days before everything was revealed, and well, I really did think she was a good person.

It is really hard for me to believe that she would willingly try to kill an innocent civilian just because of a hunch that he was somehow associated with the bamboozlers. And even then, us heroes are ment to imprison not kill, because everyone deserves a second chance.

That's... I've heard a bit of what happened on account of people occasionally mistaking me for Daybreak, and... I'm sorry you've had to go through that, even if you weren't the primary victim of her actions.

Last question, is there anything you'd like me to include in an article about you that I haven't asked you about?

I want you to know that even if the system in this world isn't perfect, we are still fighting to change things from the inside. We understand the system isn't perfect and if I knew how to make it better while keeping everyone equal i would change it, but as for right now this is our best bet

umm I turned myself into the Agency because of my shapeshifting powers, ultimately leading to the name Morphling. The agency took notice to my abilities and they made me a hero.

I've heard the options are either work for the agency or be a fugitive, do you ever wish the system was different? Ever wonder what It would've been like to stay a civilian?

You are correct with that first statement. The system really sucks, but I don’t wish the system was different. If I stayed a civilian, I wouldn’t have had my powers and I certainly do not ever wish to become a villain like @ringmaster-officialy. Despite this, the system helps keep away villains even if it is not right in truly bringing justice to our city.

Wait, how do powers work in your universe? In mine you can develop them at anytime if you're a mutant.

If you’re lucky, you will develop powers in your late teens and as long as you keep using them, they will get stronger. If you don’t use them, they will go away. If you want to keep your powers, you have to practice with them. You can do this by either working with the agency, or becoming a villain.

Jimmy Solidarity, he had wonderful points about mutant discrimination and how easy it is for heroes to do fucked up things and get away with it because the person on the receiving end is a mutant. Hotguy deliberately put a civilian into harms way solely because said civilian was a blaze hybrid.

Also that plan is way worse.
