i dont get why everyone was siding with runaan

like yeah it was his job or what ever but ezran was in the right to want him arrested. he killed ezrans father, making ez the king.. a child an orphan but yet rayla broke him out of jail almost immediately

ezran had everyright to want him in jail, yes okay runaan hadnt seen his husband in years but runaan was the man who killed ezrans last parent.

like inlove runaan, hes an amazing character and imdo think he should be free but come on, this child wants the man who killed his dad im jail for a few weeks then yeah i thini its fine. we all know ezran wouldnt have had him in jail for ever.

Why is this bad?

No, seriously. The lighting, angles, music all give a menacing tone. It gives the impression that these two are going down a dark path. But they're being pretty reasonable? Ez had the assassin who killed his father arrested; arrested, not scheduled for execution. Rayla broke out him against Callum's insistence that Ezran would come around. But she was impatient, not even willing to give it a week because Ethari had waited long enough. Then Callum joins her, knowingly betraying his brother and his country. So yes, Ezran sent people to intercept them. Just intercept them, it's not like they were given kill orders.

Janai is scheduling an execution of her own brother. A brother who tried to kill her in a blood duel. The same brother who answered Janai's merciful punishment of banishment by sending an assassin to steal the sun seed, killing several people in the process, before holding her hostage. He lead an army astray, leading to more death in the battle. Now he's showing no remorse, berating the queen for her mercy, telling Janai his heir will avenge him. He's still presenting himself as a threat. If she's lenient again, he'll cause more pain and death. Why are either actions presented as the wrong choice? What else were they supposed to do? Karim is dangerous, and Callum is aiding an assassin, and their siblings act accordingly. If the creators want the fandom to see them going down a dark path, they shouldn't make that path a reasonable reaction.
