My beloved friend Ola had a beautiful daughter, Yusra, on July 29th last year. In spite of the violence, illness, and indignity that pervaded the first year of Yusra's life, Ola would like to give her daughter a happy birthday. Apparently today is Loving Day, named after Richard and Milford Loving, the interracial couple whose lawsuit against the state of Virginia resulted in interracial marriage becoming legal in the United States. And so this day was made as a holiday for interracial relationships. I think that's very cool and deserves a tumblr post. Happy Loving Day to everyone in interracial relationships!

We're back home but it is still not safe, since we used all donations to afford the hotel and meals while we were temporarily homeless we have no money to get water, we don't have enough water to wash, clean, flush the toilet or shower.

We couldn't get my son's testosterone so he is missing his weekly shot, my daughter needs a haircut to fix what her grandpa did to her, she is worried she doesn't look like a girl anymore.

We don't have enough to go to the laundromat and we still have to afford my healthcare renewal, June's rent, cat food and a couple taxis for medical appointments and to retrieve the safe food people sent us through our throne wishlist.

My partner's ankle is hurt after his dad pulled his cane from him and made him fall.

Please we have like $30 to our name and we can't even exist without my father in law trying to fight us.
