Let me give you, the internet, and mostly myself, some executive function advice.
Sometimes, when you find yourself somehow unable to do a thing you need or want to do, one issue might be that your brain has subconsciously tacked on extra tasks, and those tasks are making the whole thing too overwhelming!
Tl;dr: don't do that!
For example, I like to track the books I read and I've been meaning to add a few books I've recently finished. But my brain has added that I should also write a review, and the exact dates I read them (which I can't even remember) and oh by the way I should finish moving my stuff over to storygraph and before I know it that 1 task has turned into 4! And my executive functioning says no.
In fact, while I was getting the idea to write this post, my brain went "wouldn't it be nice to also write a post about y and tag them all properly and go back through my posts and find all mental health posts and tag those too" and wouldn't you know it. 4 tasks.
Discard those extra tasks. Don't even write them down. They don't matter. Strip it down to the 1 task you started with and only do that.
Sure, you won't have achieved some theoretical better end result but that end result was never gonna happen anyway. It was paralysing you from getting the initial task done. And maybe once that initial task is done, you can get to one (1! not 4!) additional task. Later. Not now.
Half-assing is better than no-assing.

yesterday I had the thought "visual novel for normal people" (?) and halfway through making this image (which I thought would be really funny) I realized it was completely meaningless

some of my favorite little things about harrow that go overlooked a lot:
she runs hot enough to notice through several layers of clothing
she wears gloves and takes them off to fidget with them
a lot of her fidgeting is hand based, such as bending back ends of fingers against each other, nail biting, finger/hand/wrist manipulation often hidden in her sleeves (modern benefit of hoodies btw)
she keeps a diary (i’m amused by how little this factors into fanworks despite the potential it has, i’m personally going to start incorporating it more)
the textual reality of harrow’s relationship to food (making jokes about it or otherwise not engaging with it seriously counts as overlooking it i’m afraid)
she’s almost painfully self-aware of what she does and why she does it (her interaction with ortus in htn ch35 pg326 is a good example that i personally keep returning to, but the bubble chapters are full of illuminating harrow introspection as a whole)
harrow is an unreliable judge when talking about her skills outside of her Main Skill, and this is bc she is comparing them to her mastery in her Main Skill in which she is a genius and trailblazer
“Her development suffered from neither ego nor apprehension.” (htn ch3 pg49)
