“Do it scared” “do it alone” are all great tips, but my biggest takeaway from therapy is do it messy. This is especially true if you’re getting out of a burnout, which I experience often. Literally just do it messy. You don’t need to pick the perfect trail to walk, the perfect playlist to listen to, whatever the fuck it is. You don’t need to have a meticulous to do list and wake up at the exact time you planned and drink the exact amount of water you planned to drink. Like the biggest thing for people like me to remember is sometimes it’s okay to do it messy. Put on a random yt workout and just get it done in sweats. Do 5 minutes of a daunting task and go from there. Sometimes just getting up is a win during intense burnouts or depressive funks. Literally just do it messy.
My hope for whoever is reading this is that your life starts making sense and coming together. I hope the good days are right around the corner for you.
The sheer immeasurable luxury of changing sheets on laundry day, picking out a fresh brisk rough and crunchy-clean towel, taking a thorough deep-clean intense scrub shower, rubbing dry, putting on fresh clean clothes all straight from the dryer, enjoying A Beverage while your hair dries and wiggling into a fresh clean bed.

no, actually, i can’t be friends with someone who has opposing political views. this is mostly due to the fact my views are “people deserve rights”
might fuck around and save my own life one day at a time
'i asked chat gpt' 'i asked grok' okay well I didn't ask anyone. im scared of communication
I really hope that I get to enjoy books in every life. in every universe.
Years will pass, and you will have visitings of despair and yet be tortured by hope.

less grind, more doing your best while still caring for your other needs
The stereotype of the nerd girl taking her glasses off and suddenly she's beautiful, but in reverse. A cold tough mean office lady who glares at everyone until she gets glasses and suddenly becomes sweet, approachable and friendly since she no longer has a constant headache over not being able to fucking see, doesn't need to squint at everything, and actually remembers individual people by name now that she can tell them apart at all.
my best tip for anyone trying to get back into reading is to remember that you can read books to avoid other responsibilities in ur life and it can become a vice if you play your cards right

Putting books on hold at the library has the same thrill of ordering books online, but with the added benefit of not losing any money over titles I might not enjoy.
10/10 would recommend.
i think it's nice that people write books and it's possible to read them. often through the public library system
