Jack on a three way call: How are things in Gotham!? Is everything going well with opening the new Fenton Work branch?

Jazz: Everything is going great, Dad. We think we should be open for business in a week or two.

Maddie: That's so exciting, sweetie! Thank you again for doing this for us.

Jazz: Hey, it's the family business. Of course, I'll help out, plus it gives Danny and I a place to stay while we're studying.

Maddie: How is Danny doing? I fell bad we made him move after only one year in Casper High.

Jazz: Danny is adjusting. He's got straight A's in class and the full ride to Gotham U, that the Martha Wayne Foundation offered him is a nice bonus. He's just a little upset that the only way to get it is to attend three years of high school within Gotham. He is really missing Sam and Tucker

Maddie: Has he made no friends in Gotham Academy?

Jazz: Well....there is that one kid, but he's more interested in being boyfriends instead of best friends.

Jack: How can you be so sure? I've known plenty of people who thought I was flirting with them but in reality I was just being friendly.

Jazz: He is outside our house serenading Danny. He hired a mariachi band and has a sign that reads, "Will you be my boyfriend Danny Fenton" in spanish

Maddie: Oh. How is Danny reacting?

Jazz: *Looks over at Danny*

Danny:

Jazz: He looks confused. I don't think he can read the sign.

Jack: *laughing* That's my boy! What's the poor unfortunate kid who's heart was stolen by Danny?

Jazz: Jason Todd.

Maddie: That name sounds familiar. Wasn't he the kid Phantom saved from the Joker in Ethiopia a year ago?

Jazz: Yeah, it was.

Jack: *Laughs harder*

I love how this implies that Jason bugged Bruce into giving Danny a full ride at Gotham U, but only if Danny stays at least three years at the Academy, Jason for sure thought he was being sneaky.

Jason: Bruce, I need a favor Bruce: do you need another ride to the library? Jason: No, I need help with trapping the man I want to romance. Bruce: ...What? Jason: I need to trap him in Gotham, B, or he'll leave me Jason: ... Jason: Please Dad...? Bruce:

I think anyone that studies medicine with Damian would lowkey hate his ass.

Not in a mean way, but in a petty why-aren't-you-struggling-like-me type of way. I mean, thanks to Robin and the league Damian is light years ahead of everyone on terms of experience and it would show.

Half the class is puking their guts out the first time they see a patient with an open fracture. Damian has been there, done that, seen that and worse. He's eating m&m's in the back.

They're all practicing making sutures until late. Damian is like "No, I don't need to join you. I could suture with my eyes closed" and then when someone is like "prove it, rich-boy" that mf actually blindfolds his eyes and sutures perfectly using four different techniques.

He also passes everything with flying colors! Because of course, the guy can't just be rich, good looking and famous, he has to be smart too.

And it just gets worse when he starts his actual residency.

Nothing shakes him! Thirty hour shifts? He doesn't even yawn. Extreme stress during a surgery gone awry? Damian is the one telling the other members of the surgical team to stay calm. Violent patient? They don't even get to call security, Damian has the guy pinned already.

And it would be easier to not get jealous of him if he somehow was a souless blood sucking asshole. But Damian is a good person, awkward and standoffish but always willing to help. He's there for whatever people need. He aids nurses, listens to patients, conforts victims. He sits with people for the bad news and when someone dies he gets this sad faraway look that shows he cares.

And it's just so unfair.

Danny decides since he can’t be an astronaut to be an EMT/Doctor or something.

He was transferred to Gotham after an… incident. (He wasn’t crazy, okay! Just because it looked like he was talking to thin air doesn’t mean he was. He thought it was an injured person, he didn’t realize they were already dead!)

But Danny’s got experience, okay. He’s seen some shit, aka, his own organs outside his body which he’s had to then put inside himself and stitch up. A totally normal experience for a teenager. Yup…

At his last hospital, he was always called “weird” for managing to not blink at the rough hours of his residency or the gore. He was hoping since he was in Gotham, it would be better.

And it was! Sorta…

His fellow residents are friendly to him, given Danny’s charming and social personality (don’t tell Sam he said it like that). But theres one other resident who everyone keeps gossiping about.

They warm Danny:

“He’s a monster. They rolled in this guy with guts literally spilling out of him and he didn’t even blink as he got to work, meanwhile I had to go to puke my guts out at the sight!”

“They brought in a guy on Scarecrow toxin. There was an issue with the antidote they gave him and he ended up pointing a gun he stole off an officer straight at the guys head! He didn’t even flinch as he disarmed him and knocked him out. I swear!”

“I once asked him how he was still standing after a back to back 12 hour shift and all be gave me was this- this judging look! He scoffed and walked away, as if he was saying it was child’s play or something!”

And other such tall tales. Danny knew rumors and how they could be exaggerated though so he didn’t care much (he also wasn’t able to judge as all the situations in said rumors seemed pretty easily manageable to him, but he has been a vigilante since he was 14, not the mention a halfa. He’s just “built different,” as Jazz would say.)

Upon finally meeting the mysterious resident, one Damian Wayne, Danny was surprised. Surprised at how well they worked together, anyway.

It was easy to read the other’s actions. During their shared gruelingly long shifts the time flew by as they discussed different patient scenarios and patrols around the ward they were in charge of.

Danny didn’t even have to ask for whatever tools he needed as Damian was already holding out just what he needed; and vice versa for if Damian was leading in a patients care.

It was just so easy with Damian, he’d hate for anything to ruin it their new friendship (or, perhaps, more).

When Damian first heard of someone new joining the residency, he thought nothing of it except that it will be good to have more hands on deck. Then he meets him. Daniel Fenton. A boy who somehow matches him in quick thinking and wit. Danny was funny and always seemed to know what Damian needed for a patient.

But Damian had made a dreadful mistake

He had accidentally mentioned Danny to Richard.

As soon as Grayson learned that Damian had made a friend, he had insisted on meeting him. And when Damian refused, Grayson got the rest of the family involved.

"Damiannn introduce us to your friend!!"

He hates this family.

Part 1 to my Ancient Vlad and Danny Au Dp x Dc

Danny and Vlad fighting using mortal heroes, specifically the bats

Vlad: You're gonna turn Bruce Wayne into a hero? I'm going to make a bunch of Rouges for him to fight! Danny: Oh yeah? Well, I'm gonna give him a cute little sidekick named Robin! he's gonna be cute and funny and say puns! Vlad: Then I'm gonna make Batman an incompetent father, making Robin leave and get angsty!! Danny: Well, then I'm gonna make him find a bunch of other teen heroes and they're all gonna be besties, and Batman is gonna find a new Robin who believes that Robin is magic Vlad: Then I'm gonna have the Joker kill the second robin! Danny: woah. too far. Vlad: yea that was too far. ok lets bring him back to life, but only if he becomes evil for a little while Danny: sounds fair

In honor of April 3rd, I have decided to make my first ever Dp x Dc Prompt, so please bear with me

So, Danny and Vlad have become Ancients, Danny becoming the Ancient of Space and Heroes, and Vlad becoming the Ancient of Matter and Villains. they decided to find a brand new dimension to explore and change, and they choose the DC universe. they spend some time chilling, occasionally making Heroes and Villains to fight and keep things interesting ( Ex. All versions of of Captain Marvel, the Amazons, Klarion, Trigon etc.)

One day, Vlad got angry at Danny, probably over something stupid, and decides that he will go to one of Danny's favored planets, Krypton, and filled their leaders with ignorance, leading the planet to doom.

Danny, understandably very angry, whispered into the minds of the house of El, telling them to save their child, and then guiding baby Kal-El to Earth and making sure he crashed landed on the Kent's farm, knowing that the Kent's would care for the baby as their own

Danny, still very pissed at Vlad, decides to fly over to Gotham, Vlad's favored city, and whispers in the mind of little Bruce Wayne, speaking of a vigilante of the night, one that made sure that what happened would never happen to another.

Danny Would turn Vlad's city of villains into a city of heroes, no matter what.

The Batkids 100% guessed starred in it without Bruce's knowledge or permission
