I cannot stress enough how important it is to be with someone who loves God. Someone who wants to draw closer to Him and draw you closer to Him with them. Someone who can empathize with you but tell you when you need to put your focus back on Christ. Who's not going to pity you just cause you're having a bad day. Someone who is going to remind you that there's an enemy and you need to fight him.. but not alone. Someone who will run the race with you and pick you up when you fall down. Pray for someone like this.. and don't settle for less.

When I don’t spend time with God I begin to feel so low and lose sight of the things that God has placed in my heart. When I spend time with God, I feel strong and I feel loved and I feel peace and I feel like I am going to be ok. I don’t know where God is taking me really, but I trust Him and I trust Him wholeheartedly. I am not ashamed to say that I am so in love with Jesus!

To those of you going through something that you want to go away. To those of you looking for an answer. To those of you whose herts are broken. To those of you who need love and support and peace and joy, spend time with Jesus and you will find what you’re really looking for. You might not find what you want, but you’ll definitely find what you really need. Let God melt away your sorrows. Let Him fill you with a bubbling joy! His love is for you! Don’t turn your face from God. He looks at you with love, not disgust. He is healing my heart and He can heal yours too. God is in love with you, absolutely in love with you. Run to Him, His arms are open waiting for you. Spend time with your Heavenly Father today, let Him embrace you and hold you tight, I know you won’t regret it! I hope this blesses someone today, I love you so much because Jesus does. God Bless yall!

realizing all over again that God is truly all we need and there’s no way around that. there have been many times in my life where i’ve searched for things to fulfill me. people, relationships, approval, popularity, hobbies (yes even hobbies) and so much more. still, every single time i think that this certain thing could bring me joy, i end up reaching a point of emptiness inside. whether it’s a split second or even an entire month, i realize all over again that i am nothing without God. not even a full days rest could compare to the refreshing joy of being connected with God and being fully known by Him. without God, i am nothing and i can do nothing. it really all comes down to this: even if everything was taken away, would i still be okay with just jesus?

so friend here is your reminder that God is all you need and all you’ll ever need.

pray a lot!! pray for everything, even/especially if it seems silly or impossible or ridiculous and you can barely voice it. pray for the little things and the big things and everything in between. keep that connection between you and God open all day, every day. pray and then watch how tiny miracles fill your life.

Talk to yourself. I mean sit down with your thoughts and sort through them. Line them up with God’s Word. You’ll be amazed at how many of them don’t and how you’ve been listening to lies.

It is really important for me to remind myself to Be still and know God is in control, and is with me while i look around and see how things have got difficult and different. God is not done yet. He is working all things together for our good. God will provide.

prayer is so incredibly important. i think it’s one of the biggest things we as christians take for granted. prayer is a direct connection to God; it’s a conversation, not one-way glass. i challenge you to pray not just before bed or before you eat - but constantly. constantly be thanking Him and talking to Him. if your friend gives you a compliment, thank God for His love in the world. if you’re worried about an exam coming up, ask Him for peace and wisdom. we don’t have to pray big prayers; all He wants from us is a relationship, and a relationship starts with conversation.
