I very much live in the canon-compliant niche which just fleshes out the canon in more detail or explores what's possible within canon-established rules.

I love these options, I had to second-guess myself multiple times cause I kept thinking of good examples for each one. But honestly, I tend to read a lot of fluff or fix-it fics. I crave happy endings or at least bittersweet ones to escape reality lol.
