Peppafact: Doing the math, theres about 11 (or more) cut characters in the show.
Some of them ended up being reused as "Extras" (bg characters), or being reworked into other characters, though some ultimately disappeared.
Penny Pony (part of the early main cast, turned into a bg character and replaced by pedro)
Randy Rhino (i think they literally just forgot to make him actually be relevant in an episode im so serious like he was actually meant to be a main character but they forgot and eventually rohan rhino took his place as the side character rhino kid) (hes from very early on btw9
Paris animal (a wonky character rig rejected for the paris episode but accidentally used in the carnival one, its unclear what his species is)
Carol Cow (character they cut into a bg character last second, she was meant to debut alongside penny polar bear and lotte llama, even having merch of the three with an updated rig design for carol made for that season. its unknown why they cut her short. like actually they had everything ready its so confusing,, also she was a bg character since the start of the show and was confirmed to be mr bull and mrs cows daughter in various instances so the fact she didnt show up to their wedding and never appeared in a bg after the wedding episode is odd)
bonus: caeruleam cat,, she was never meant to be in the show and was used in a social media post from 2012 that may or may not be impossible to recover as of now but i like her
Unused, from the original season 1 pitch:
Babysitter (They were originally, well, gonna babysit Peppa and George. They were scrapped and the episodes concept was reused with granny and grandpa.)
Neighbor 1 (One of Peppa's neighbors. He would debut in an episode titled "Pet", where he would own a parrot. Extra fact: Grandpa Pig didn't exist at this point in development, but Granny did, having her own cut episode from the pitch) (other bonus fact: grandpa pig and polly are both reused characters from an old film by astley baker davies in the 80s, "Jolly Roger")
Neighbors 2 (family of presumably 4 described as shy, they would debut in an episode titled "New Neighbors".)
Nurse (unnamed, possibly an early draft of suzy. keep in mind peppas friends were made after about episode 45, and by then they didnt even know if the other characters should be pigs or not, so its not "suzy" necessarily but an early concept that turned into suzy, this applies to the other pitch characters like the babysitter and neighbors, their species was never defined or thought out properly.)
