okay so a thought that ive had for a really long while now is that it seems like the post-kingdom CR community doesnt really care about the series history anymore

like everyone was always asking to bring dozer back but aside from that i barely see anyone talk about the more obscure stuff from this series. even stuff thats more well known like banana peel cookie or the comics i never see brought up anymore. i remember in 2018-2020 posting out of context panels from the comics was an insane joke we all had but now i dont think anyone cares

nor does it seems like anyone cares about unused cookies or dead games... nobody cares about wars and nobody cares about darkest night and even the first two ovenbreak games arent brought up anymore now that dozers back as a real character. usually fan communities have some interest in old and obscure and unused stuff but cookie runs fandoms interest in that has like completely died down in recent years. i think thats a shame

but also like maybe thats just me i guess since i find these older aspects of the series more interesting than how it is now lol

part of what made me write this is the constant discourse of character design in this community that starts when someones like 'this new cookie is so simple they dont deserve to be [legendary/epic]' whenever an ovenbreak character releases in kingdom... its like are we so uninterested in anything else in this franchise we dont even know what characters are in ovenbreak and what characters are in kingdom and what characters are in other games. it actually boggles my mind a bit
