the entire sol and blackstar divorcemarriage arc is so funny in itself but i think it’s implied that tawnypelt and her kids only leave for like a single day WHEREIN jayfeather is begged by starclan to literally make a sign up to reignite blackstars fate because they’re too lazy to and so he promptly bargains for the help of his two idiot siblings who spend some time whining about it being against the code and also three 13 year olds who don’t know how to do as much as stalk a mouse. and jayfeathers like ok let’s dig these trees up and make it look like the forest is falling around them but we need to make it convincing so i’ll sit under a bush a whisper some ominous shit. and they do that but also they have to nearly knock out an unrelated dude who wandered in just beforehand. and then when they do fake the sign in front of blackstar starclan itself descends and interrupts jayfeathers fake whispering (WHICH. littlecloud is NOT noted to have recognised for some reason and ALSO which instils legitimate fear into blackstar) and then afterwards blackstar immediately runs back to shadowclan camp going “yes i think i WILL kick sol out he can die in the woods now” and then he sends tigerpaw (literally 6 months old) past shadowclan territory unaccompanied so he can get his other siblings who have been sitting in mud for the past hour. why not. it’s all so good
