Kaamelott Lancelot checks every box for being gay for the king and massively repressed. his obsession with Genièvre is so superficial that it can only be because he actually wants to fuck Arthur but it goes against everything he thinks he ought to be. he turns him into a rival instead of a lover because that's easier to process. meanwhile Arthur was probably into him day one but he had a bit too much going on to do anything about it. what I'm saying is that if Astier isn't a coward they will fuck nasty in one of the movies
