After stepping away from the Caryl fandom since season 10 and watching these first six episodes of season 11, I can see why the Caryl ship is no longer popular with the general audience. Starting to think my whole 6 years shipping them was just a delusion. There's just... Nothing. Literally nothing. It's like the writers don't give a single shit about their friendship anymore. The caryl spin off means nothing apparently. I'm starting to even like Leah and Daryl's relationship. Sigh.

I've been binge watching Outlander for the past month which has been a great distraction from TWD hiatus. Jamie and Claire are the perfect romance TWD never gave us with Caryl. Kinda lost hope on that ship idk. Don't think I'll be active here for season 11. The Daryl Dixon origins sounds like a fucking mess from what I've seen on twitter. Do they even mention Carol at all? Lol. Am I Impatient for giving up on Caryl to happen after sticking with this show since late 2014? Do I care?

Sorry Caryl fam. Ditching the Cherokee roses and zombie guts for Scottish kilts and magic stones was one of the best things I did this year. Try it out, if you're tired of TWD nonsense.

so i was listening to the secret goldfish by pencey prep and it reminded me of summertime by my chemical romance, and i wondered if frank drew some inspiration from his former band (subconsciously or not).

frank came and played two songs for people who didn’t get wristbands because the free show only had a capacity of 250, and he still made an effort to meet over 900 people. what a swell guy

I went to this show - got there at 7am to line up, it poured with rain the whole day and I got soaked head to toe. My Stomachaches CD I kept in my bag was ruined from being rained on. When we got let in at around 4pm, I was still near the back despite getting there so early.

Frank played quite a few songs. He got a tattoo (it was at a tattoo parlour) and did a Q&A. I asked him the last question which was what Australian artists he listened to, if any. He said Tame Impala and Russell Crowe 😂

Got to meet him afterwards. He stayed there until well after 11pm meeting literally everyone there including the hundreds standing outside that didn't get let in for the show.

Absolute Angel, that man.
