my favorite artists are northstar, taking back sunday, the used, waterparks, mcr, all of those fueled by ramen bands from the early-mid 2000′s (you know which ones), aaryan shah, amir obe, HEALTH, and like a billion more that i haven’t listed.

like i get adam’s voice is Damaged As Fuck and it’s like.. okay. we get it. he’s working with what he’s got. it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s so funny to read tiktok comments that are like “im so mad. he spent the whole show wasted and swinging the mic and not even trying to sound exactly like the album. taking back sunday are so unprofessional. i cant believe they still have fans when theyre bad live.” like, wow. that’s not very Alternative Elder Emo of you lmaooo. in fact, you actually sound a lot like my conservative boomer parents the way you completely miss the whole raw and unpolished aspect of emo music that makes it what it is.
