Animal Abuse. Please Read.
One thing that I cannot physically fathom, is how people can abuse or hurt an animal. I have such strong feelings about this, being a dog owner, and I think that I would make this public knowledge. I don't care if you hate me or bash me for what I am about to say because I know that people love me and I am entitled to my own opinion.
Society has the preconceived idea, thanks to Michael Vick, that pit bulls are dangerous and harmful to kids and people of all ages. BULLSHIT.
Please explain this to my half-pitbull half-lab mix who will KILL you with LOVE. A dog who will lay with me any time I want. A dog who will bark aimlessly at the dogs walking. A dog who will sleep in bed at night and dream just like any other dog in the world. HARMFUL? NO.
If someone were to attack me for the dog that I own based on events that PEOPLE conduct, I think that they should be medicated or educated. PEOPLE fight dogs, PEOPLE train them to be killers or defenders, PEOPLE malnourish or abandon their pets for wrongdoing. WHO IS THE REAL KILLER?
Newsflash: THE DOG IS GOING TO ACT HOW THE OWNER TRAINED IT.
If anyone were to hurt my dogs or if I ever saw my dog hurt by someone, you can bet I would beat the living hell, or at least try to, because my dog did nothing wrong. I would press charges and go the whole nine yards because TREAT OTHERS HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.
Let me damage your face, neglect to feed or provide any sort of nutrition for you, have a gang of people beat you to a pulp, throw you on the streets, and have you not be found for weeks.
EQUALITY IS KEY. YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE.
I have no patience or reason to ever understand why someone would do such a thing to such a loving breed. Educate yourself people. If you provide a loving home, love, belly rubs, treats, walks, and other amenities for your dog or animal, they probably won't turn out to be crazy or dangerous.
I have and never will have any respect for someone that abuses animals. I think that you should be punished severely, sent to jail, and to be treated like you treated your animal.
You could be a friend, family, or any person that I know but I will never speak to you again. A dog looks for love and care. Why should you get the same thing?
