Howzit!!

Everybody here seems to introduce themself ever so gracefully which I think is rather nice so here I go... My name is Peter Townshend, most people call me Pete - or if you're Keith Moon, you call me anything but that.

I play guitar for the band The Who, with my friends Keith, John and Roger.

Other things I do with my friends include:

Getting absolutely "white girl wasted" with them from time to time

Getting high

Getting low

Causing trouble

Keeping Keith on a leash, but everyone else handles that much better than I. Mostly John's area.

Talking their ears off - sorry Rog.

I only stumbled upon this website when I noticed a lot of cool photos would all redirect me back here and consequently got stuck in. I also noticed a few friends are on here so I thought - why not give it a try? Now don't forget the fineprint under the cut!!

This Pete goes by he/him and is set ambiguously between the 60s - late 70's (before Keith's death).

Obviously, Mick. I already have to spend countless nights with Roger on tour and he's always bossing us about like we're children. Though - that's probably what we're like.

It would be nice to spend a peaceful night with Roger, but spending a night with Mick at all is a lot less likely to happen.

hay Pete it is night time where I am but I must ask how late have you ever stayed up and where you sleepy the next day? And or tired the next day?

The truth is, I'm the laziest person on the planet - so it's a lot more likely you'll find me sleeping rather than awake. Or, at least, I will be trying to avoid the tasks that come with being awake.

Still, I do stay up late; often regretting it. Not because of the fact that I stayed up late, but because it's usually right before a period of time where I actually must stay awake for something. So that's really fucking annoying because I can't just go to sleep then if I want to and I can't even blame Keith.

I also sometimes find myself sleeping in the daytime and having a lot more energy to roam at night, but that does not at all stop me from sleeping during the night. I'm a lot like if bats were useless.

hay Pete must ask any time when you and the band ever had a delay with flights or trying to get to a concert venue? If so can you tell me about that experience and how it affected you and the rest of the band

Whenever our transport happens to be late, we always end up sitting through Roger's small fits of passive aggression about our (usually, extremely reliable) services.

Obviously, It's just his way of dealing with stressful situations, but I always end up laughing about it afterwards because he always starts apologising to us as if he should have been able to control the situation at all.

Keith usually gets agitated and somehow finds something to do, so we sort of just have to make sure it's nothing illegal right before we leave the country.

I do recall this one time: We'd been travelling for hours on end, which forced him to try and sit still for what felt like an entire day. When we finally got to the airport, Keith decided that now would be about the right time to launch a couple fireworks all around the building. And there was something else about melting tar...? I really don't quite remember - I took a lot of substances that night to get through it because it was, then, too unsafe to fly (because god knows what else Keith could have done) and I had all this pent up energy for virtually nothing. Another issue with that is, we very well could have gotten arrested. We, obviously, had to cancel that show.

John makes the noises of an upset cow. He can also stay awake for excessively long periods of time - so he just looks horrible after a long while of waiting. He slept like a log that night, though. We eventually had to drag him out of bed the next morning because we had to eat and get going. I often wonder if he took something or if that journey was really so terribly exhausting.

Anyway, I usually just find myself back in my own head. I'm not sure if there's anything I do in particular... other than get wasted.

It was during the development of Quadrophenia...

I don't quite remember much of it, just that I was probably being a complete bastard - and then I woke up in a hospital with Roger suddenly being the sweetest man that you could never dream of because he thought he had killed me.

We're sort of always arguing, so it's hard to tell. I guess it lasted as long as an argument needs to last to warrant an almost lethal punch to jaw.

How are the rest of the boys when it comes to spiders? Idk why but I imagine roger to be scared of creepy crawlies...

You imagine correctly, I remember one morning Roger woke up to a spider crawling on his chest.

I’ve never heard a girlier scream.

Keith doesn’t seem to mind spiders much. In fact I suggest they stay away from him, unless they want to be blown up by a cherry bomb or worse.

Hmm not so sure about Pete, but I imagine he’d consider them a nuisance.

Spiders will sometimes shock me, but that's because I don't like being crept up on.

I mean, they always appear out of nowhere, if they could at least make a noise to notify me about their presence I would have no issue. It's the same with snails - a snail crept up on me once and I leaped out of my seat like it was the end.

Then I noticed it left this long horrible trail I had to clean up, oh God. I don't even know why it was in the house or how it got in.

That being said, it does give me a great sense of power when I have to get rid of spiders for Roger "Hench" Daltrey. He's such an adorable man.

All in all, I would say just do your best.

Don't feel so extremely pressured to get it all right. You learn much better from your mistakes than you do when you get it all done perfect on the first try. In one way or another you'll have to repeat most things you learn. If you don't, there's probably an option to. Take it as an opportunity to do and be better rather than a cut at your patience and jab at your intelligence.

More importantly, if you're in secondary school (or "middle" school (I think that's the American equivalent)) just know that absolutely nothing matters at the moment.

When you're done there, you'll probably see three or four of those people ever again. In most cases, they won't even recognise you.

Unless you're like me and have one unmissable defining trait.
