So so like- ok im gonna illustrate this but im gonna write it out so i can come back later.

OK- so a few years ago I had this idea but I never went into because I lacked THE SKILLS.
So boom Asgores kids die, his wife like, bam depression. Gaster dies, leaving his kids, papyrus and sans. Bop. So Asgore ADOPTS dumb and dumber to be his kids and raises them and it’s like so cute. You know sans grows up and becomes a royal scientist with alphys and they work on the core and develop the underground, they watch anime together and stuff, sans is gonna get these big ass goggles and like a lab coat to switch out with his jacket. WERE LOSING THE COLLAR OK ITS NOT OK- now papyrus over here- he’s the head of the royal guard and bffs with undyne and together they make a better royal guard system, papyrus is gonna get this cloak that’s like half fur (he killed the annoying dog and skinned it) and his og scarf- cloak has a hood that’s the dogs skull. Papyrus and Asgore cook and bake together trying to figure out the krabby patty secret formula aka toriels pie recipe, but they both are terrible cooks rip. He takes sans to grillbys even tho Asgore is like mm I don’t wanna be here, but it improves his relationship with the people of Snowdin dab him up. All n all it’s like a fix it au- you know Asgore talks to sans about it but sans is too lazy and says no so Asgore makes papyrus the heir to the throne just in case something were to happen to him.
So I have- a couple ideas.
With all the plot holes papyrus and sans leave open since they don’t live is Snowdin anymore, what to do?
1. This leaves toriel alone in the ruins with no pen paling with sans, could drive her even more crazy? Maybe she takes over the ruins completely and causes so much damage that Asgore sends papyrus (head of the royal) to go deal with it, there he meets toriel where she basically outs Asgore tea with how it’s his fault they’re stuck in the underground, and it’s his fault gaster is dead, and blah blah. Now Toriel in jail but oh no Papyrus now sus af of Papa fur ball over here, and sans is like 😏 damn shawty toriel (NO SANS AND TORIEL THATS WEIRD) and papyrus gotta dig deeper and solve this mystery on why gaster dead- do we know why gasters dead? Not atm im working on it
2. I could make it a multiverse thang and yes have my lil fix it au with Asgore but then have something happen to asgore where he basically wakes up from reset coma, and his world collapses and nows he’s trapped in the void, that’s where he finds OG underfell au where he absolutely glitches OG underfell Asgore out and takes his place-only to be immediately noticed by ink sans bc bros dripped like that and we have a whole multiverse issue
3. I could just slowly descend into madness and just make really small short comics about all of that and be very non specific
