He scoffed lightly. “I’m beautiful and deserved to be shown off to the world. You should be taking me everywhere.” he remarked teasingly, swinging his arm around her shoulders as he moved toward the car. He talked big, and he did mean some of it, but trying to get Ellie to roll her eyes and push him away was almost a game for him at this point.
“While Laura Prepon is… yeah, ten out of ten, really… There isn’t much that I rank higher than sex.” he responded with a shrug before kissing the side of her head and chuckling. “But we can do whatever you want to do. You know I’m flexible.” He punctuated the statement with a wink, ruining the sentiment entirely.
He shivered under her touch, swatting her hands away from his body and stepping away from her immediately. “That’s it! No cuddling for you anymore. Never again. You can’t be trusted.”
Ellie’s brows raised up and she shook her head. “I’m just going to smile and nod because I’m your best friend and shouldn’t comment any further. Yup. You are so gorgeous and great. Sure. Okay.” Her eyes lit up playfully, the corner of her lips pulling up into a smirk. Even on her roughest nights, Tim knew exactly what to say to make her feel better. Despite her cold retorts to his comments, she couldn’t be happier to be around him.
“More like twelve out of ten. Honestly Tim.” She pursed her lips. “So between sex and working out, which comes first? I’ve always wanted to know.” Of course Ellie gives him crap for being a gym rat. She nudges him lightly and waits for him to unlock the car. “The moment we get to my place, five dollars in the douchebag jar.” Her eyes rolled back.
She barks a laugh, rubbing her hands together after he jumps back. “Who are you going to find to replace me? I’m the best big spoon you’ve ever had. You need me, Holt.”
