Hi! My name is Knox (any pronouns) and this blog is mainly reserved for fandom and music things! I am a massive Winter Soldier fan and I will not shut up about it. I love engaging with fandoms - writing, drawing, and cosplays are my main outlets. Also, happy to discuss anything fandom or music related. I love to yap. I'll take drawing/writing requests as I am always looking for inspiration :)

I don't know who to tell this to, but the euphoria fandom on Reddit is FUCKED oh man. I've spent an embarrassing amount of time on that page. But it's so entertaining to see everyone fight to prove they're the most media literate while completely misunderstanding why people critique the show

I loved Loki! I waited a long time to watch through the whole show, but I thought it had a really intriguing premise and it ended beautifully! The settings throughout the show, from the TVA to the end of time, were so interesting to look at and I was so happy to see the use of color! This show is so colorful! I was so invested part of me wishes it was longer, but I'm glad the story ended where it did. Definitely one of my favorite post-COVID MCU projects!

And they hinted at one of his sisters being alive in TFATWS! I so wish we knew anything about them, even just a flashback interaction or something. It would add a lot of context to his character.

Gorillaz has blown me away with The Mountain. The samples and references to Demon Days, the instrumentation, the insanely long list of features, the production, the lyrics - all of it is stellar. I wasn't sure what to expect going into it, but I was hooked from the first minute. Please give it a listen if you haven't already!

Does anyone know if Bucky's shoulder is still scarred after getting the arm from Wakanda? The only scene I can find where you can see his shoulder is the nightmare scene in TFATWS, which is too dark to make out much.

Steve and Bucky's reunion is going to be another footnote scene where they exchange 3 sentences and give each other a bro hug. And then I'm sure they'll barely interact during the movie. Genuinely makes me sad that Stucky scared marvel so much that we haven't had a genuine moment between Steve and Bucky since 2016. And we never will again.

Rewatching the Captain America trilogy really made me realize how little of 40s Bucky we see, which makes him all the more tragic… only 8 minutes of screen time in the first movie, I literally said “Already?” when they got to the train

The first third of the movie, we seen him smiley, confident, talkative, and he cracks jokes all the time. Even when he isn’t smiling or happy, his face just looked so different, so lively.

Then he’s missing for most of it, only to be reintroduced but now disturbed, broken and in disbelief of everything around him. Even flirting and being confident began to feel foreign, looking at Steve has become bittersweet. He smiles, but you see pain and hesitation behind it, only a few seconds before his face drops to that disturbed, hesitant expression.

While the message and focus on Steve in the first film is very well executed and meaningful, the representation of how war can break the happiest, nicest people is so prominent with Bucky and I cannot stop thinking about it and how it sets up his imminent tragedy so beautifully.

do you ever feel like there was a point before bucky was like fully washed out into the winter soldier where he had to grapple the reality that he wasn't ever going to come back home? like you were already drafted into wwii which was kind of a guaranteed grave for young men when the draft was imposed so you already had to accept that you were possibly never going to be able to break your best friend out of fights again, or go dancing, or eat at that bakery that was strangely convenient for picking up girls. and before you know it you're strapped to a table and fully exposed under dingy florescent lights, stripped to bare essentials while doctors poke and prod and speak a language you barely understand. not that you'd be able to understand anyway, the ringing in your ears is far too loud for that. and all you can think about, regardless of the fact that you're essentially a human test subject now, is "I'm never going home, am I?"
