Being bi and just recently figuring it out, I'm really starting to realize how much it pisses me off that it's somehow accepted in a lot of queer spaces to just write men off as unlovable. It's done to both cis and trans men, and tbh it's really fucking bothering me. Why do we put up with that? Why do we just let people write off almost half the fucking population? It's shit. Just cause it isn't a form of institutional bigotry like misogyny or homophobia doesn't make it right, doesn't mean there's a good reason to hurt people like that.

idk, I just think it's innately wrong to call anybody unlovable for their gender; didn't realize that'd be controversial. At the same time though, treating people as less worthy of care and compassion for something so simple seems to be depressingly normalized, so much so that I didn't always bat an eye at it.

It ain't right, yall deserve love too, and care, and tenderness, and affection. Don't for a second feel that you don't.

Anyhow, rant over I guess; just fucking treat people well.

The top row was supposed to be simple skin tone edits until I went overboard at some point…… also hi Kris why are you here (I’m pretty happy with how Orange turned out, considering I don’t do original sprites all that much! Except I kinda wish I stayed closer to her original pallet and I think I made her head too big whoops.. might redo her sprite someday)

I kinda have a hard time noticing when pixel art looks messy, and berdly having a kinda complicated design did not help oh my godddd but I still had a lot of fun animating him I promise

That last one is technically unfinished, (because I wanted to edit the background to look more like the chapter 5 dark world) but idk if I’ll ever get around to finishing it so uhh have fun figuring out what I was going for there 👍 👍 👍

how does this one sprite seem like a three-way reference?

I've seen people compare his looks to Rudy, but the colored eyes and then the cut on the cheek is just ever so vaguely Toriel.

He's also extremely Mettaton in general, and then his hair droops down to cover the same eye and he makes the same expression. (Probably Alphys' anime influencing Asgore's tastes)

The scar on King's face was expanded upon in this chapter and that seems like direct foreshadowing to this very scene. King's is there because of damage to his light world form, a tear in the card. Flowery is also torn at this moment.
