Want salted caramel frosting in the morning? That's right - frosting as both coffee creamer and sugar - genius! Especially this flavor. Duncan Hines cakes and cake frostings are generally accidentally vegan so get baking again too. My other coffee favorite, after two decades of experimentation, is pancake syrup as sweetener. I like my coffees thick and bold but vegan milks and creamers have a tendency to make coffee seem more watery weak. If you must use a milk, soy is the least watery option. Soy milk is also great for creating foam if that's what you're into. I have a coffee press in which a small amount of soy a few strong pumps is all you need to make a foamy layer for you're homemade cappuccinos. On top of the foam, melted vegan chocolates nibs, like I showed in yesterday's photos, make an amazing drizzle to top off any coffee. I can't eat much in the mornings, but coffee is a great segway. I'm also trying to focus on a new journey of eating to live, instead of living to eat so I don't always pack something hardy my for my work lunch either. I used to eat the most junk food at work as a sort of personal compensation for having to be there, but I'm trying to be more conservative, and have more moderation(ok, not eat like a child) in the hopes of evolving into a more balanced person. I always see my birthdays the same as january first - a time for resolutions, new goals, and lifestyle changes. Anything to make my life more simple, healthy, etc. The smallest step towards the better is still important, even if it's to just throw something out of the house, because becoming mentally healthy is a life long process and any progress must be celebrated. So, today's last coffee tip is this - waffle house sells bags of ground coffee for only .70 cents! They're Arabica really may be the best thing they sell and being able to brew it in your own kitchen is a really a treat when you're low on cash. Check it out! Goodnight vegans!
