Something I love about dating a therian and being one too is that one time I mentioned how having my jacket adjusted on me feels like preening and now my gf often adjusts it and calls it preening

Just finished watching Hoppers with my girlfriend and I loved it sososo muchh !! However seeing the amount of people treat it as a therian movie bugs me so much. It's fine to relate to a movie of course !! But if you're gonna talk about it please don't erase the main message of environmentalism. We are living during a mass extinction of insects and animals, reaching multiple climate tipping points, water bankruptcy, and so much more all caused by climate change. We NEED movies like Hoppers to show people it's not too late during a time of nihilism, misanthropy, and uncertainty. We NEED movies like Hoppers to encourage people to look out for the planet and stand up however they can. We only have one planet we can't treat a movie with such an important message as just a therian movie

Again I am not saying you can't relate to Hoppers and see themes of therianthropy in it, I am saying please do not ignore the main message of the movie

I’ve seen so many films and shows be watered down to “Therian media” and folks keep ignoring the real message. Like you could take a movie about being biracial and culturally mixed and folks erase that. Nothing against relating to or interpreting a movie in a Therian way but keep in mind the actual intent of the series

I love having a complex identity that because hell yeah I’m a bird, fictional characters, a cat, a cryptid, somewhat an anime character, aroace and agender yet a boy with a girlfriend but it isn’t a straight relationship, and I’m biracial.
