Dan has had a crush on Phil since 2024 and they dated briefly in 2009 but it was kinda messy and then tried friends with benefits in 2019 but broke it off when lockdown was announced because they didn't want to argue and lose eachother. They also kissed once last year but never talked about it, sometimes Phil remembers the kiss but he feels guilty about it because he thinks that Dan doesn't like him like that after what happened in 2009 and all of his issues with sexuality.
