Quick Update!

Hey there!

Sorry ive been absent for a week or two, very busy personal life as always and trying to catch up n some college work again!

I’ve been trying my absolute hardest to stay motivated for this project as it still is something i am very excited about however it is hard to follow through a project which will take a lot of time, money and effort and not knowing if it will work out.

So in short i am of course continuing and this is just a friendly reminder that every like, reblog or help is greatly appreciated, thank you all <3

What is the Phanfiction Archive Project?

The Phanfiction Archive Project (PAP) is an idea I had which will be to create a website for the phandom.

Yes thats right, a website and not a tumblr.

This website will be for authors to showcase their phanfiction and readers to find it easily! 

So how will this work?

Authors will first submit their work to the website in a form of a link, this means the website will not directly host or benefit from anyone’s content! 

The readers can then use an advanced search function (think of AO3′s for a rough idea) to filter through the phanfiction on our website. This can filter through multiple tags, word length of the fic, author etc.

When will this come out?

Since i am going to be creating it by myself i would say around a year! I hope to have it finished by July 2020 however it will depend on you! Im creating a survey to get a rough idea on what people want so stay tooned!

All feedback will be super beneficial and helpful and any ideas will be greatly appreciated :)

What languages?

Not fully decided as its still in the making however i would say HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP :D
