Admin Applications are Open!
Hello everyone! As you know, we’ve had some trouble keeping up with everything as everything in the phandom has become so big (as well as our follow count). The Phandom Encyclopaedia is a community based resource for members of the phandom to ask questions regarding anything they may want to know about Dan and Phil, our community, etc. and to get involved!
We’re opening up applications to welcome 5 new admins to the team, so here’s what you should know:
This link will take you to a google form with some questions to fill out, and once you’re satisfied with your responses, you can click submit to send us your application. However, before doing that, read the following:
Being an admin at the Phancyclopaedia can be extremely tedious. Our job is to answer any and all questions in relation to Dan and Phil, write articles to put in the tags of our encyclopaedia, fix links and sometimes intense research, all that jazz. It can be time consuming, as the stuff people see on our page itself isn’t always what’s happening behind the scenes (aka coding, post decisions, editing, theme work, etc.)
Only apply if:
You have enough free time to get online and take part in the blog throughout the day without it becoming a chore that you can’t handle.
This is something you truly want and think that you commit to.
You have patience. Some of the asks we get aren’t pleasant- you have to be able to keep a calm demeanor even if you’re super annoyed or frustrated and want to throw your device across the room (we’ve all been there).
You have a basic understanding of the english language and how grammar works.
You have an extensive understanding of who Dan and Phil are/what they’re about.
Please read under the cut if you are thinking about applying, it would increase your chances at becoming an admin greatly!
