PinkyPills Tracing + Evidence
Howdy
Recently me and many ther people have wanted to bring to light evidence against the artist “Pinky Pills” (known on Tumblr as username “Pinky-Pills”, DeviantArt as “PinkyPills”, and Reddits as /u/PinkyPills)
She is commonly known as an official artist for Scott Cawthon and the FNaF series, most known for her work in “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Simulator”.
However, as much as a “professional 2D artist” she claims to be on every post, its been brought to light many times that Pinky has traced over many different artworks and source material.
To start with her most basic on, the tracing of the posters in the most recent FNaF game.
(A thank you to the original Reddit user who once posted the first image, who’s account has now been deleted, and the second image poster as /u/Bonetrousler. Godspeed.)
As you can see, the most notable of her traces derive from some official “Mickey Mouse” artwork, as the left hand and feet are more than remarkably similar.
But even outside of artwork that she was commissioned to make for others and for official merchandise, lets take a look at some of her fanart as well.
Pinky’s Ballora art is some of the most infamous work to be traced, mostly from stock images and pinups from independent artists without credit (or permission.)
Her FNaF comic “Daydreaming” as well is not safe.
Yet again, traced directly from a stock image with no credit.
Here’s a large assortment of proof from her “Tarrot Card” series.
Yet again, no mention of having traced the images.
Most traced from the first frames of FNaF World idol animations
We’d be willing to let this one slide more in regards to a trace, but its still very clearly HEAVILY referenced.
Foxy’s face traced from the FNaF 1 jumpscare animation.
Doesn’t line up exactly on the right, but this is likely because of composite editing and/or mirroring the image.
This entire box art artwork is a mess of stolen Mario renders and artwork traced over eachother.
The hands on the characters can be some of the biggest giveaways for this.
This is one of her most recent works, most possibly traced but undoubtedly heavily referenced.
And the best part about this?
(Excuse the sidebars and etc, I was on a Skype call)
When I called out the fact that she had traced the previous Cirno image on her DeviantArt…
She blocked me and hid my comment on the spot.
So not only is she tracing and heavily referencing without credit, but she’s hiding it too.
TL;DR:
PinkyPills is a huge tracer who doesn’t credit those she copies from, and does so in commission works as well.
Please help to spread this around, as it has gone too far.
