Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āāĀ iām just saying āĀ āwhip my hairā was an iconic bop that the world just wasnāt ready for.Ā āāĀ imani raised her manicured hands up to the sky, defending her choice to choreograph a routine to the number.Ā āā the little ones are gonna love it, and itās gonna beĀ fierce.Ā āā
āMaybe it just came out too early. So maybe it will make a come back if you use it. Just imagine if a song came back on top of the charts because of you?ā Philip replied, although he doubted he himself would listen again to that song.Ā āI hope youāre right. I doubt you want to see how the kids will act if they donāt like it.ā
āHelmets, check. Pads for just about everywhere, check. Rollerblades and skates in assorted sizes, check. Unused mouthguards, check.ā Cosette said to herself going over the list on her clipboard of inventory before her first round of campers later on in the day, checking off the rest of the things on her list she hadnāt noticed anyone coming over until a shadow passed over onto her clipboard looking up.Ā āOh hey.ā
āWell, damn. And here I was hoping Iād be able to sneak and give you a little scare. Guess I still need some practice.ā Philip started, still using that opportunity to glance over her clipboard before taking a seat on a rather precarious pile of material.Ā āI hope youāve got everything ready, donāt want any of my kids getting hurt because of you.ā He teased, but in reality, he wasnāt going to blame her if anything were to happen.
āItās only the first day and Iāve already had multiple kids climb up the wall and get scared to come back down. Itās not that scaryā¦I mean, do I look like someone that is going to drop you if you lean back and rappel down?āĀ
āWell, to be fair, that wall is huge for a kid. I remember being scared too when I would climb it. Just give them a little bit of time, theyāll start trusting you soon enough.ā
THE WATER WAS STILL and there wasnāt a breath of wind. this was laylaās happy place. it truly was. when she was younger , she did nothing but dream of a place where she could escape the drama and struggles of her everyday life and at stillwater .. she had exactly that. a place to let loose ; to not care about anything. the brunette closed her eyes and began to hum one of her favourite songs.Ā ā god āI would never leave here if that was an option. ā she said , mostly to herself.
Heād been walking around camp for a while before he heard her voice. Being his first year back on those grounds in a long time, he wanted to take in as much as he could.Ā āWouldnāt that be a dream come true?ā to him, the camp had been an escape throughout his childhood, and he only kept good memories of his time here. So of course, if he was given the choice, he would stay here forever.Ā āAnd sorry, if I startled you. That wasnāt my intention.ā
āListenā¦.hear me outā¦.you, me, maybe a few other counselors on a night hike? No flashlights or anything, just the stars and the moon above us. What do you think?ā
āThat... sounds like a good plan! As long as Iām not stuck supervising the cabins. What time did you plan on leaving?ā
ā ć»ć» āĀ alright, itās official. iām cracking down this year !! no more mr. nice guy. i know iāve always been pretty lenient to yāall throughout the years but i have matured. donāt break the rules or i will write you up ā and crying will not get you out of trouble this year.Ā ā
āDonāt you think thatās a little harsh? Theyāre just kids, we all broke rules when we were kids. As long as itās not too often, or anything dangerous, I donāt see the harm in it.ā
Hello everyone! My name is Val(22, EST, she/her) and Iāll be playing my baby Philip! Iām currently at work and probs just took like half a minute to post this since I drafted it this morning. Still, I would love to plot so come to me! (preferably on Discord since I very rarey check my tumblr ims, iām atĀ val || exmusemyfrench#9385). ABUSE TW
Philip was born in Newport, Vermont, to Richard and Eleanor. When he was very young, everything seemed very nice and perfect and he loved his parents a lot.
But when he got a little older, at around 6 years old, he started noticing his mother showing up with bruises and marks, and sheād always invent some crazy story about how she got those.
OBVIOUSLY, one night he was supposed to be asleep, he snuck out when he heard his parents fight. And thatās when he noticed his dad beating his mom. That shocked him, ngl, but it was an occurrence he started noticing happened more and more.
He still tried to act like a normal kid and has always been very damn nice and open and friendly. But seeing his father become abusive rubbed on him a little, and he started experiencing some anger issues.
Not that it mattered much to his mother. Unable to take it, she finally signed for divorce and left when Philip was 11. And heās never heard of her since.
That put a dent in his relationship with his father, since he was now the victim. Although the abuse remained verbal at first, the nearer he grew to being 18 and leaving for college, the more physical it would get. And since he had no place to go, or didnāt even know what to do, he stayed silent about all of it.
Senior year of high school came, he was enrolled for college, going for criminology because with all the abuse heās seen in his life, he wants to do something about it, try and prevent it or something like that. Though honestly he has no clues what he wants to do with his life, it just sounded like the right thing to do.
But he never made it to college that year. His father forced him to stay home and threatened him with anything he could. So he spent one more year in Newport, working a shitty job.
That was until one of his coworkers noticed a bruise and proposed to help him. So they went to the police, and his father was arrested.Ā
That meant, he was finally taken away from his dad and could go to college.
He was a smart kid, thank god, and always had a keen interest in basketball(he played all through high school) which is how he managed to get to college with a scholarship
Stillwater is a place his parents would send him to over the Summer when he was a kid. After learning about the abuse, Philip was always looking forward to spend a few months away from home. So when he was proposed to come back as a counselor, he obviously accepted it.
Random facts:
Due to seeing his father being abuse, it led him to develop some kind of anger issues, but he does work on it and has never hurt anyone.
Would put your needs before his.
Heās pansexual but heās not much into hookups and one night stands, he prefers creating a connection with people.
He dreams of exploring the world and plans on doing it after college.
