UNDER THE STRING LIGHTS

The night was full of stars, I can see the natural stars from above and you told me to get dressed. I was asking “what’s for” and you just said “go and get dressed” I went back and get dressed and prepare myself for what’s coming. As I came out from the bedroom, you were calling my name multiple times. I listened from your beautiful voice and looked everywhere, I followed your sweet tone and found you in our garden. 

The garden was so beautiful, string lights everywhere, plants and flowers. You saw me dressed and looked stunned, I walk straight to you, so close. You were just looking right to me, I asked you “why” and you said “I didn’t expected it”  I chuckled and you just smiled. You lit the candles that surrounds us and you lit the candle on the table for last. You looked back at me smiling, you turned on your music playlist. I was looking at you and looking carefully that what’s surrounds me while you were busy choosing the right track. And finally you got the right track that you think it will suits the night, but I’ll tell you this. You are so good on choosing the right track.

You held my hand and took me under the string lights that you prepared so many hours, I’m in awe to see the beauty the little lights above me it’s just like looking to the sky so close. I was wearing a dress and you looked at me like it was your first time to see me in dress, you put my hands to your shoulder and yours was on my waist. You asked me, if I was happy and I replied to you with a yes. You told me you prepared all of this, you were so nervous doing it because you don’t know what will my reaction gonna be but instead you were shocked because you saw me smiling to your work and you saw me that I was really happy.

You took your step and I followed you, you danced me under the moonlight and under the string lights. I was so happy and I can still feel it the pure and calm love that you offered. You hugged me so tight, and knowing that you were so happy that you made all of this for me. You keep kissing my neck and keep on saying how much you love me. By the time you were swinging me, you remembered my flower. It was tulips, “you mentioned your favorite flowers are tulips, so I got you one” I was in awe and chuckled, I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for me. I was so happy and my heart was really happy.

You held my hand and took me to the table and you prepared our meal. We were talking about our night and how happy you were, but little did he know, he was the one who made me happy for the whole night date, it was not expensive. It was just him all alone, the best reward of all time. This man may have a lot of flaws but still manage to make feel like I am the only girl. Dancing under the string lights in the garden was the best love story I can tell so far, it was beautiful, warm and pure. It was all the love that you can feel. The man that was in front of me will forever be my date under the string lights with the natural satellite above us. And I will not stop saying “I love you”.
