It soon becomes apparent though that after his vanishing act fifteen years before, Ben Solo has simply ceased to exist.

In his place Rey finds Kylo Ren– shadowy SnokeCorp flunky, person of dubious morals, highly allergic to dogs –who seems completely unwilling to patch things up with his estranged parents. Rey’s made a promise though, and come what may she’s going to stick to it…

Holy canoli people! I LOVED this episode!!!!!! So much goodness happened. I usually wait til the next day to talk about it. I usually have to re-watch just to make sure I didn't miss anything, but y'all I need to flail! So I'm gonna dive right in.

First off, Alex! I had prepared myself to miss him tonight. What a wonderful surprise! Looking all hot in that leather jacket. Mercy! And the way he looked in his dress blues........stick a fork in me. I'm done. I am totally intrigued by Deep Sky. I can't wait to see where they go with this. I'm thinking that device he's going to work on is connected to that radio Michelle gave Kyle.

✨2021 Reading List✨

I’ve been reading a lot since I’ve been sick, and as some of you may know, I’m a new Reylo addict so this list will mainly consist of that fandom. But don’t worry, there’s a little bit of other things too.

This is my reader’s list so far (mainly from the end of March through April, and don’t expect to find anything other than Rated E content here… not sorry about it though):

This Mess Is Mine by LyricalRiot (Rated E/ Reylo)– This is a soft FWB story with light angst, but there are plenty of funny moments throughout. Also, I kind of need a freakishly honest friend like Rose in my life. I totally binged this in two days!

Berserker- A Viking’s Tale by @malliebuu (Rated E/ Reylo)– Oh god, Viking AU! Must I say more?? Honestly, reading about emotionally constipated Nordic men is where my weakness lies. But it has angst, enemies to lovers, and some fierce Rey. *chef’s kiss* (Also, can someone please give me more Viking stories??)

And Just Like That by Resplendently (Rated E/ Reylo)– A slight enemies to lovers AU with Boss Benn and Assistant Rey, and I really enjoyed the dynamic between them in this story. And I’m just a sucker for a good enemies to lover read lol.

Firewater by Polkadotdotdot (Rated E/ ReyLogan)– Like I’ve already mentioned, I’m super new to this bandwagon, but oh my, Clyde is so sweet. This story reminded me of a Nicolas Sparks novel, and I couldn’t get enough! There’s the perfect amount of angst and fluff throughout, so it’ll keep you on your toes.

A Quiet Christmas Eve by @roseharpermaxwell (Rated E/ Dramione)– Yes I’m still reading Christmas stories months after, but there’s jealousy, so… Even if there’s no longer red and green lights strung everywhere, I still recommend giving it a read.

After the Storm by @leilahmoon (Rated T/ Dramione)– Ay, look at that. Something that’s not explicit. But it’s sweet and beautiful and I have a soft spot for post-war Dramione stories. It’s mostly fluff which is refreshing from my usual sobfest stories, but don’t worry, there’s light angst too.

Arrow in the Air by @amarillis39 (Rated E/ Dramione)– Okay… vikings!! Also, I know I’ve raved already about viking Draco and Theo, but you need this in your life as much as I did. And the jealousy was just the cherry on top of this delicious Nordic sundae.

go i know not whither and fetch i know not what by @voicedimplosives (Rated E/ Reylo)– This! It’s a Russian Mafia AU and it was so good! It’s very poetic at times, and expect a lot of angst and some dark moments. This was another story that I binged in two days, maybe one.

The Best Thing That’s Ever Been Mine by @emperoxgrayland (Rated E/ Reylo)– I have a thing for fics that have unrequited love, and Reylo when they’re both ruling the galaxy together. Expect some angst, of course, but the ending was worth it.

Before You Say I Do by @minkel23 (Rated E/ Reylo)– This fic is still in progress, but it’s so good and she writes suspense really well. It’s the perfect angsty, secret baby trope cocktail.

Practice Makes Perfect by @r-e-a-l-m-a-t-h (Rated E/ Reylo)– Every time I read a story with virgin Ben, I really just want to give him a hug because he’s so awkward and sweet. This also has jealousy, which I’m weird and love that shit.

The Games We Play by @captaincabinetsao3 (Rated E/ Reylo)– I really like stories where one (or both) characters are in existing relationships, yet they fall in love with each other anyway. Maybe it’s the drama and baggage that comes with their romance, I don’t know. But I’m enjoying every bit of this fic.

Falling (again) for you? by @alwayseverlark (Rated M/ Reylo)– Ex lovers tossed into an unexpected encounter, and what’s the outcome?? Angst! Hehe. But don’t worry, there’s a HEA;)

The Prinicipal by @jhsgf82 (Rated M/ Everlark)– Forbidden relationships and age gaps. Must I say more? But no, really, it’s pretty good.

On the Hunt by @hutchhitched (Rated T/ Everlark)– This tugged on my heart strings a bit, and I was rooting for Katniss the whole way. It was relatable, as I’ve been there, and the end was so perfect.

Empress by Maleficar (Rated E/ Solas/ Lavellan)– Okay, so this was a reread because I’m antsy for the next Dragon Age. But I have this thing for emotionally constipated male characters, and this version of Fen’Harel is delicious.

Bohemian Nights by @thusatlas (Rated E/ Dramione)– Enemies to lovers where they’re also maybe idiots? Gold!

Compatible by AttackoftheDarkCurses (Rated E/ Reylo)– Honestly, I don’t know where to begin on this one. But… kinks, and the whole friends admitting they want each other outside of sex is so good. Love!

Bad Neighbors by @amybeegood (Rated E/ Reylo)– So I’m new to the A/B/O world (I’ve been doing a lot of new things recently), and oh my Ben-Alpha-Lawyer-Solo. And he’s kind of an asshat, but Rey is a badass cop so that evens it out. Oh, and there’s delicious smut! In case you doubted the possibility that there wouldn’t be.

This is all I have so far, but if you’d like to check out more of what I’ve been reading recently, you can find the fics in my bookmarks. I read a lot, so it gets updated often, although I still forget to bookmark sometimes (imagine that hassle when I’m trying to find a fic). It might be kind of early for a 2021 reading list, but if I started this in December, you’d probably hate me for how long that’d be lol.

The category for relationships (Gen, F/F, M/F, M/M, a combination, something else)

The right category for ratings (is it for General Audiences, Teenagers, Mature, Explicit, R-Rated, Nc-17?)

The relevant warnings (violence, rape, underage sex, anything else you deem relevant)

The relevant tags on it (what relationships are covered in the fic? What characters? Is it light and fluffy fic? Funny? Sad? Dark? Does it have sex, and if so, what kind? Is there violence? Tags are used by readers to find fic and to avoid fic)

A summary that informs the reader of what kind of fic they’re gonna read.

Author’s notes for everything else. You can use the summary or author notes to explain certain tags, or add caveats, or thank your beta’s.

Things that are not a fanfic writer’s responsibility:

Kids stumbling across your fic and reading your fic and assuming that whatever is written about in the fic is 100% cool and normal.
