For @magliagialla :) Burgess_and_his_bike is a cyclist, a HUGE women's cycling fan and total TDFF supporter, both in his socmed accounts and live events :) Check out all three of his roasts on the guys leaving stupid comments on clips of this year's TDFF: he posts the comments (with the commenters names) directly on to clips of pro mens' races, pointing out that guys crash, too; drop their bidons, too, etc. He's not a mean guy at all, but is passionate about cycling and people not being c*nts in general.

And at this particular finish line, I LOVED the way Jasper hovered over Matje, just watching him (and actually stood over him with Matje between his legs), maybe protecting him, sometimes checking in on him, or patting him--just very, very...tender stuff they usually don't do much anymore. Then again, it's been a while ('23 Giro stage, maybe?) since Matje's been down on the ground anywhere near the state he was in that day. I wonder if Jappe was worried about him. I sure was :\
