I mostly use this space to talk about VC since the fandom is either dead or toxic as fuck on other platforms. I've been into VC since like THE YEAR 2000 LOL. I had fics that got taken down in the FFnet purge! Ancient!
Marius is my favorite character and I'm more partial to Marius subplots/timelines. I'm also really into the Devil's Minion and Trinity Gate! I'm super into whatever the fuck was going on with Marius & Daniel! I could talk about Armand all fucking day! Pandora is my hero! Please expect posts about these things!
I didn't love the AMC adaptation so I don't talk about it very often, because I try to focus on stuff I enjoy. ♡

i think it is very depressing that like every aesthetic people try to emulate are of people doing things but they themselves are incapable of being somebody that does things… the mall goth 2005 aesthetic revived in 2022 but nobody goes to the mall to be annoying and weird and nobody lets themselves be cringe… the cottagecore aesthetic but nobody knows how to raise gardens or live self sufficiently … the dark academia aesthetic but nobody actually reads books…. The knock at the door is uncharacteristically gentle.
They don’t usually knock anyway, do they?
Marius’s neck strains and he doesn’t bother lifting his head, sore eyes staring, waiting, for the ashamed way it finally cracks open.
Mael doesn’t say anything right away. Peers in at first, studying, before he lets himself inside. Only opens the door wide enough for his body to slip through, closing it so quietly behind him.
Angry words are right behind the gate, ready for Marius if he needs them, if Mael is going to act demure about all of it again, but he says nothing. His fingers tap nervously against a bottle that he sets down on the bench, and for a moment Marius expects him to sit there, too, but he comes closer.
Not quite in arms reach, but he sinks down to the floor by the bed, his back to the fire. It lights up the stray hairs that stick up from his head, from his fancy braids, but casts his face in shadow.
“Are you…” he begins, and stops himself.
Marius’s stomach churns.
His whole body is stiff from curling in bed all day, but a stubborn bit of pride spikes inside him. He pushes himself up, so that they’re eye-to-eye, tries to straighten his shoulders.
When Mael doesn’t continue, Marius rolls his eyes.
“Am I what?”
“Are you feeling better?”
“That’s a complicated question,” Marius says. He crosses his arms over his chest. “Would you like to be more specific? Do you mean from when I was ill? Or when your men hit me over the head? Or when—”
When you ignored me for days, Marius almost says, but stops himself.
“When you were ill,” Mael says quietly. “But you seemed quite upset last time we spoke. I suppose I’m asking if you’re… still upset.”
starting a campaign called Put Fingers In His Bullet Wound Wednesday where every wednesday we celebrate medical accuracy by leaving the bullet in whatever fictional pookie you shot real good and Packing His Hole with gauze. by fingering that bullet wound real good. With gauze. this campaign will increase medical accuracy in fics and also make bullet wounds hornier.
The purpose of Fingers In His Bullet Wound Wednesday is to celebrate and sexualize proper medical care, such as Wound Packing, which requires Gauze. Pack His Wound Wednesday! Fill His Wound Friday! <3

in the event of a severe bleed it is never good to allow it to keep bleeding. Wound packing is for punctures (or bullet wounds) in extremities (not the trunk of the body!) and it’s used to put internal pressure on the wound all the way to the base of it, which is why it requires you to stuff until you cannot physically cram any more in there. In the event where you cannot even spare the shirt off your back or the wound is in the abdomen, clamp both hands (one on top of the other) over the wound and press down with your bodyweight. A life threatening bleed is classified as anything over a half-can of soda in volume!
no but honestly like. I feel silly bc I edited chapter 2 at the time when I finished writing it but I’m so balls deep writing hrpf that I’m like. Can I toss it into the void without editing again? Do I trust my past self? Bc I need to traumatize Connor McDavid. He’s waiting for me.
