6th of November and the first snow is falling over Sörmland and Eskilstuna. Having freezing fun at the newly remade Fristadstorget.
A late October visit to Rinmansparken!
Visiting a small industrial area today along Libergsgatan!
Yesterday we took a few minutes for mobile phone snapshots of a few of our colleagues at Mälardalen University. Just a quick exercise - next time street portraits?
Another late update - Anna-Lenas and Peters (welcome!) photos from Munktell Science Park. Will be complemented with Karls pictures later today.
A VERY late post from a photo session at Rademachergatan a few months ago...
Last weeks session - another visit to the small square outside Eskilstuna city library. Spring is in the air!
No time for a planned urban photography this time! A quick n'dirty photo shoot inside Verktygen at Mälardalen University in Eskilstuna (the small exihibtion area to be more specific).
Another 20 minutes at Drottninggatan: Challanging ourselves to portrait strangers in the street. Tough one... We would need to do more street shooting of people!
A 20 min wintery session at Rademachersmedjorna today. These pictures might not look very urban, but this environment is actually the remains of Eskilstunas early industrial history. Worth a visit - there are still a few active craftsmen and blacksmiths here and the small restaurant, Jernbergska, is much recommended.
Busy at work! A ten minutes urban photography at the academy today. Both of us went black and white...
Urban photography goes rural. Last week we visited the Sundbyholm Castle outside Eskilstuna for a conference.Â
Second urban photography after the vacations: 20 minutes at Fristadstorget, the main square in Eskilstuna. Its currently under reconstruction, hence the theme of this session.
Our first session after the summer break: A small parking lot and inner yard in a not-so-fancy part of the central parts of Eskilstuna.
Long time no see! At last we got together again. This time at the old Bolinder Munktell-tractor factory area - nowadays the art/innovation/science park "Munktellstaden". Be sure to check back tomorrow - Anna-Lena is still lacking one picture (now added, 23rd of April) and Carina will add her pictures as well.
Street photography today! Cold but nice weather and harsh light conditions - again. The owner of one of the business buildings got a little suspicious  of our activities, but that misunderstanding was easily sorted out. Some of us still struggle to take photos of people in the streets. We will most likely get back to that kind of photography - we need strengthen our photography guts...
Oh, by the way, we had a secret guest photographer today. Hopefully his images will soon be ready for publishing. The previews in his camera looked exciting... Update: Lasse Carlssons (our secret guest photographer) images added!
Today's result from our twenty minutes photo session right outside Eskilstuna city library. Harsh March sunlight but great fun! Unfortunately Carina Söderlunds camera went out of battery... the wonders of digital photography.
See you next time... where? We'll see...
