Shorter idea from me from a wolfstar discord part 3 i think we’re at now buckle your seatbelts jk this ones short
“wolfstar artist au but instead of just remus being a painter, sirius works with metals and smithing and remus works with glass, like lampworking and glassblowing
but like imagine, sweaty sirius smelling of flux and gas and metal and and like with his hair up or something, maybe goggles for an aesthetic, and remus also with his hair up cuz we stan a long hair remus and in this case his scars are just lil burns from glasswork, hazards of the job, and like he does the little tongue sticky outy thingy when hes focusing over the torch and i just love it too much
maybe rival art shops at first, and then they grow to respect and appreciate the work and hmm maybe the love they have for eachothers artwork is covering up for some other form of lovewhat”
Hey everyone! These last few months have not been the best for the shop. Things have been very slow and most of my work has been personal projects. If you’ve been wondering why I’ve been so quiet, it’s because there hasn’t been much to report. That said, I miss being so engaged with people. I’m going to be doing my best to keep people up to date and involved with how things are going in the coming days.
That said, I can always use the help of people who enjoy seeing my work! If you want to help me produce more and more often, it would mean the world to me to have your support over on Patreon! You’ll be able to see and read a lot there over the coming months about my work, ideas, and the projects I’m currently working on! You’ll also be able to have a say in what I work on next and have a chance to see how I do what I do in a more in depth way through tutorials. You could even get some nice loot for your trouble!
Even if you can’t support me right now, spreading the message would mean the world to me. This work is everything I’ve ever wanted to do, and support and word of mouth helps me to be able to keep on doing it. Consider following my various other social media including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Also feel free to check out my work on Etsy, or on my personal Shop (psst! For the moment prices here are cheaper feel free to come in and snag some things before I have the chance to update them!)
Finally back in the shop. Arms sore. Ben way to long
The valve reminds me of carburetor tuning. Needs a certain amount of choke & a total amount of idle screw adjustment. So, a little opening, then some total air comes in & gets it to work through your screw inside of the valve, like in a diesel screw adjuster for total amounts of fuel being used in mechanical diesels.
so you just place a screw inside the valve then you screw in in & or out along the length, maybe the middle area, to allow for more or less air to just go through, to be fair I think the outsides of the valve (the outer 2 vertical sides of the rectangle that are smaller lengths) would work with a worm screw to open those areas up & let an air hockey table effect happen.
you know, a Leiden frost effect, where the air provides a cushion effect & can escape into the valve opening from the sides as well. Interested to see what you will have already come up with then edited then put out later into the future, while you read the ideas after I said you would be working on this, like half a year or something like that on bluesky & used this episode to talk about wine decanting & then how to better make refrigerators & more. Then a while after that evan & katelyn made a video about glass blowing (actually something that I talked about, wine decanting, something during the advert I randomly caught a word & it started it off in my head, or I just whatever into adhd brain) after talking about, at the end there, glass blowing competition on netflix that I think is really cool.
Check it out, in-between the new series you are probably doing.
I just want a full suit of armor. I know I’m asking a lot, especially in mine and my family’s financial state but for the love of FUCK can I please have the suit of armor I’ve been day dreaming about since middle school?
Hypothetically I can afford it, but years ago I ingrained into myself the advise that if you don’t have enough in your account to buy something three times then you CANNOT afford it. I’ve saved so much with this mindset since highschool and I’m now in my mid 20’s with ok money but still so much stress.
Unfortunately, I still would like a suit of armor and a real sword or two. One sharp and one dulled.
I got to feel like a Dwarven blacksmith today! There's something about hitting stuff with a hammer that's just 🤌
The same feeling as getting into a good swordfight and seeing the little sparky sparks when you clang together.
Creeping into my knight era, I can feel it
