got sooo sad all over again hearing them talking about the plan to end dan and phil in 2018. like it was obvious and we knew but god. i didn't want to believe it then

i just can't cope with knowing we almost didn't have this

basically the first ever ii show (it was double show so matinee and evening) dan did the whole "if this is the last thing we ever did together" spiel but his wording was a bit...heavy? it was very like "enjoy this while it lasts" vibes which people were freaked about (like visibly in the audience where apparently there was lighthearted booing and then immediately online when people started tweeting after the show)

to the point where dan changed the script HOURS LATER for the second evening show the same day. (it was basically the same vibe but different delivery)

but it was also apparent that they were soft launching the end of an era
